Hi Rick...I'm in Seba Beach...where would a guy find a parts dealer for an 8n in the Edmonton area in 2021?

Any Case New Holland dealer as CNH bought out Ford’s agricultural division.
Really like how she shows how to preform repairs without a whole bunch of special tools. Nice! 👍
Excellent job! I like how you showed what the parts look like when they are removed and aren't covered in oil. Really helps make the connection to understand. I am using these videos as I piece my 8n back together 😂. Keep up the great work!
Rachel ,is a awesome mechanic ,so meticulous !!! I've watched her for hours
Great information for sure. Love to see these old tractors coming back to life!
I own a 1950 8N that’s was my dads. He passed a year ago and me and him both spent several hours over several years on our 8N. This channel has given me the excitement and motivation needed to completely refresh it in his name. Thank you both!
I recently purchased parts from these folks to rebuild my 8n. Very good quality parts, and the videos are helpful too. My tractor works like new!
Thanks a lot Rachel! This will be very helpful when I get my 2N running. I know it had hydraulic problem last time it ran, but that was 25 years ago so who knows what it looks like in there know. I will probably need everything you got available. Thanks again, very informative!
Good job, as I was growing up we had a 8N tractor and the lift never was no count and daddy could not afford to get someone to properly fix it so he got all the information together he could and we were always taking it apart and working on it and it would usually make a little difference in it but it never was fixed properly, it was just always a headache, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for your informative videos! I recently took possession of a Ford 800 and your depth of knowledge is extremely helpful!!
We were fortunate to get an 8N with the property we purchased. Your “user error” info at time 10:27 or so was exactly what we were doing wrong. The pump only works with the PTO on. That saved us from hiring a mechanic. The hydraulics work very well.
Great video, and your knowledge blows me away, and safety work.
I love this channel, you are very thorough with your explanations, no nonsense, no half assed shortcuts. Keep up the excellent work
I am one of your hugest fans you are so incredibly smart and able to get things done you have taught me so much from the bottom of my heart thank you
Sounds like you have had a lot of hands on with these. Excellent video without a lot of nonsense. Thank you.
@Dan Gingell and Rachel Gingell, thank you for posting the new video about the pump repair! As expected, it was great!
Thank you for sharing, I learned so much watching this video!
My Oh My…. I have met very very few people in 69 years that have such instructional mastery and knowledgeability… customer for life, thank you
THANK YOU. I haven't ridden my hobby 9N in a while. Recently reworked the generator and a few things and when I tried to move it the tractor the hydraulics would not work. I thought it was the pump, and came watched your video. Luckily you mentioned foot off clutch and engage the PTO. My PTO was not engaged. I re-ingaged, foot of the clutch and Voila! IT WORKS again.
You are the bomb! Thank you for your professional disposition and sharing your information so intelligently
Rachel is the best! Very good teacher!
Very well done! I've been putting off the hyd repair of my 8N for years....Much better understanding of how it works now.
Its so nice to see anouther woman working on tractor and such and knowing what she is doing. Most people say i act like a man cause i work on old tractors and cars and trucks. It really bugs me
Love the product you guys make. Much needed.
Ok Thanks to you and great videos.. and some parts.. I have fixed the tractor my dads 9n has a draft control and now only on hydraulic leak on the arm pivot You are a great teacher kiddo.. keep it up
Perfect timing for me to discover these informative videos. I'm going to check out a '53 Jubilee that has hydraulic lift issues .
I have learned so much from this young woman, thank you
We'll, I just learned the solution to a problem I had 20 years ago. :)
Thanks brother first tractor ever and I just learned a lot
extremely knowledgeable, very descriptive speaks clearly easy to understand. anything 8n related look no further to expand your knowledge of theses awesome tractor's!!!
So very helpful, excellent job Rachel !! 😊
As I recently learned, all of what you've said about the hydraulic valve and arms is equally applicable to my Ferguson TE20.
Wow...I watched this to better understand how my hydraulic systems works. Very fascinating. Thank you.
Thank you. You have been very helpful
YOUR VIDEOS ARE FANTASTIC - JUST GOT AN 8N AND SOMETHING IS UP WITH THE HYDRAULICS - THIS IS A GREAT HELP - I WILL TRY A FEW THINGS - GLAD I HAVE FOUND A PLACE TO GET PARTS AND ASK QUESTIONS
Nice video! Thanks again! 👍🏻🇺🇸
I am SO impressed!

Thank you very much for all the valuable info !!!!!
Thank you! You've helped me so much with other problems. I just bought my 1952 8n last year and trying to fix the little problems. I changed out my Hydraulic fluid because it sat for 20 years. It will go up but not down on demand. It will go down in a couple days. lol I need help. Thanks
These tractors almost seem so easy to repair. More basic mechanical ? What years are they? Your knowledge and mechanical skills are phenomenal, you make it look so easy. Thank you.
Great video! Question if you don’t mind answering, what got you interested in working on tractors? You have a lot of knowledge about them. Thank you for sharing!

Great video
This is very informative. I wish I knew how to regulate the height of my lift arms on my 8n. The shaft driving the snow blower gets angled to far when I lift it.
I took care of 5 IH Hydro 86's. The hydraulic pump was on A side cover a cessena gear driven. Easy to R/R

Had an encounter with one of those. Had to drain about 25 gallons of hydraulic fluid before I could pull it off.
I love watching all of her and her father's videos I just wish they did other Ford tractors like the 1920 in the 2120
Wow Rachel. You are worth your weight in gold.
Helpful thanks 👍🛠️
Love the videos!
Thank you so much
Impressive knowledge in the details. You wouldn't happen to know why my Kubota front loader has no down pressure to speak of, but the rest of the hydraulics works fine? Thanks for the vid.
Very informative

Hey, you make fantastic videos. I also have a 8n. I have a quick question. When I engage the pto. It will do about one full spin then stop. No hydraulics at all. Thank you in advance!!
Thank You so much !
Young lady you're awesome . your parents should be very proud of you. You're not even my kid and I'm proud of you.👍👍👍👍👍
Hey rachel, thanks for the video. It helped alot but I have a question. Have you ever removed the hudralic oil tube in the center housing? Mine has a hole in it so I'm trying to remove it but have had no luck. Thank you
Hi great job. Glad I found your tutorial. I have an 8N I just bought, all original. The lift worked but now my 4 ft bushhog is attached and the lift goes up but does not stay up. It goes back down. Any idea what I should check? Thanks and Ill keep watching. Have a blessed day!
Thank you
love this girl, she is great, knows her stuff,my mechanic could learn from her!

Hey Rachel a question from Denmark, a old Volvo bm 850 I Think, do you know how too change the brake band for the handbrake? Love your shows , I`m a mechanic my self but NOT usual on tractors but i am trying.
I am a mechanic myself, do not really care about old Fords etc...,but I am still watching it. :D I have seen farm girls, but I have never seen such a cute girl interested in working on equipment.
Hey! Michigander here too! Wish we lived closer would love to pick your brain!

Makes it all seem gravy..lol crazy knowledge.
Rachel, thanks for the tutorial. It was very helpful. I rebuilt the top lid with a kit from your site. It's a 1952 Ford 8n. The drawbars now have the lift power that I expect. Upon reassembly of the inspection cover, the Sherman high/low transmission seems to be stuck in high! The handle is on the inspection cover. Is there a spring that may have dislodged or did I just miss the groove that the handle attaches to? Thanks.
Very informative and very well presented!!!! My Ford will not lift my Grader blade without me getting off and physically lifting it. It seems to lift better when it's cold when it's hot. Anyone have the issue?? Thanks again for your videos!!
Is a 600/800 series hydraulics video coming soon?
Got an 8n recently. Didn't see any piston leak. I think it's the relief valve. Looks like some of this will be in my future.
Very nice videos I have watched a few and have learned a ton about my 8n. My hydraulics will only lift about 1/2 way, they did go up all the way twice. Does anyone have any idea where to start ? They only go half way up with or without the back blade on.
Very interesting you seem to know what your doing wear you locations I&m in KC Mo
Think this technique would work to diagnose 3 point problems on a TO35 as well?
Thank you for everyone's time. What do you recommend for lift and drop latency? Its about 3 or so seconds. Also, when the tractor is off. The Back blade will drop after a minute or so. Is this normal? Should I change the fluid. Not sure when last time it was changed.
so young but yes you know what ya talking about .. just had to second guess this old man thanks kid
Where I live a cherry picker is a man bucket on a crane system for lifting workers to remote work positions. The item she calls a cherry picker is known here as a shop crane. Some call it an engine hoist. Are we looking at Michiganspeak here? BTW I love these Gingell videos. Better than the shop manuals.
I'm Redman from Guyana and your video is awesome
Can you modify the system on the 8N so the lift works with the clutch disengaged (live power)? Thanks, I enjoy all your videos.
How many time did you watch this? Yes.
Ojalá te entendiera, pero ayuda saludos desde Argentina.
My 8 N is an early model ,the pump housing is destroyed it came that way all the parts are gone , I also have the front end loader with the trip bucket I was thing about putting a front pump on it , what size pump should I use to Handel the front end loader and an out side ram for the 3 point and a ram for the trip bucket ?Thanks
Thanku

Yes, I look forward to the same. I have an 800 series that only lifts a few inches and very slowly leaks down. And while you're at it making videos, how about rebuilding a head on the Century series tractors?
We have an 8N we got when we bought the land it was left in. It runs, the hydraulics work too. I am concerned about the noise when the engine is running, the PTO Is off and I let off the clutch, it sounds like the PTO is still running. When I press the clutch pedal, the sound stops. Also, I changed hydraulic fluid and a small 3/16” diameter x 2” piece of steel came out with the fluid. Should I be concerned about the sound or the piece of steel since everything works good?
Love your store I order everything from there. I don't see anywhere where anyone says how frustrating the hydraulic control valve arms really are on a ford 2n. Especially if you have good steel arms. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.
Hello there, so we have an 8n and with ours the arms go up and down no problem. our issue is when using the blade even over soft soil it has a tendency to rice up over rather than staying down. any suggestions? thank you in advance definitely going to watch all your videos on 8n tractors now :)
