You can see that’s smiles for miles that,and they pretty decent motors if you always watch water temps ect you’ve had a few so you’ve got experience,can’t wait to see this go past 300 will be nice,you got a shopping list yet or in pipeline?

I've used generic maps on a few cars if you go with a company that's spent good money on r&d there pretty good as long as your not going for massive power I sold my corsa vxr and bought a polo gti 2.0 aw as I needed a auto due to my back injury but I still miss the vxr keep the Content coming I'm still watching all your videos as I always enjoyed your video's no matter what you are driving 👍👍👍

Ah this was brilliant to watch, imap was the best £200 i spent on my St. I bought the car with a ropey map but stage 2 hardware mods, when i first put DSCI map on i was nervous like you then couldn't stop smiling and laughing all the way home, the torque was so addictive. Looking forward to you trying mod x as thats a step on from DSCI, just keeps pulling up the revs.you should dyno the car with the different maps to see the differences as i dont think anyone has done that before, would be good content.

@@Yodaracing1 that would be awesome to see. Another thing you could do which I thought might be good would be draggy times with the different maps to see the real world difference. Also a good reference point should you ever go stage 3 which I'm very tempted by.

I run mod xrs with 550 cc bosch injectors cant fault v map ,, a great choice for ur car mate in my honest opinion ,great video mate happy days

@@Yodaracing1 lol smils per gallon not miles per gallon,, when you get multi hole bigger injectors it improves slightly not much though lol rs plugs are a must for mapped cars mate I c u got sum fun to fit too lol

So ready to get mine a stage 1 map, unfortunately guy who owned car pasaed away an his misses sold it with out knowing if its mapped and nothing to say either way with the paperwork that cane with it, but boost gage goes to 3 quarters so thinkin it maybe, but the dreamscience imap looks like the way to go, look in your face told me all i needed on how much you could feel the change lol.

Did you have any experiece with mod b? I am about to install a stage 1 intercooler next month, and go from dsci to mod b. Want a weak low-mid rpm map with plenty of power high in the rev range, because I don't plan to have block mod. Can you describe me the way it makes the power, and a comparison with mod b+ if you know...cannot wait till next month to find out myself!

Mod b is a good map more of a linear power increase

That’s awesome mate, so many gains for so little effort it seems. May I ask how much that bit of kit cost? And you can tell Dream Science are big when someone who’s never used it themselves have still heard of it 😅

They are around 250 -400 second hand depends how many lives they have left cuz u can take it off your car etc then sell it on so all depends how many lives it has left etc

Unreal how easy it is to transform these motors with a map, my clutch held out until I slapped on a 3" turbo back then it started slipping.

Haha mine already has a 3” decat and 3” cat back just missing the down pipe I have a invoice for a clutch kit and flywheel 5k ago but all it says it’s clutch and flywheel replacement doesn’t say what brand so I’m kind of hoping they were wise and fitted a rs clutch lol

@@Yodaracing1 stock feels like any normal clutch, you do notice a difference with RS one.

If you want turbo for txx and injectors and fuel pump i do have it mate sick of waiting to finish now lol

Pretty sure performance is the lowest map on there

Love and st I want an mk 2 rs but cost so much to run if you want to do a channel review I have a 16 plate cupra 290 dsg 375 bhp 530 nm stage 1

2 years in and no major problems other than inlet manifold gasket. Some have dogs and so many different half decent mechanics working on them. Astra has way more character

@@gazking08mx I loved my Astra don’t get me wrong as it was savage but towards the end I gave up as most would I battled for 6 months trying to sort it and spent close to 2k paying people and parts to fix it and it was still fucked hence why I threw in the towel lol
