In my figo 1.4 deisel turbo is there but no intercooler as others have,why?pls elaborate sir

Yes bro, ford forgot to put an intercooler. but they realised and added one in the new models. 1.4 tdci dont put much boost pressure on engine so the air won't get much heated. Fiat 1.3 uses 100cc lower capacity and more boost like 22 psi but around 12 ~ 15 psi for ford 1.4. And can see a variation in power band as well. The absence of intercooler is one major reason ford high engine knocking in ford 1.4. And for low capacity t.c engine making more power than bigger t.c engine with lower power will need an intercooler as the charge and temp will be much higher.

Its actually 15mm but if you have aftermarket links differs in size.

Hi Bro, i have seen most of your videos. Thanks & keep going. i have a doubt regarding the noise "duck" sound and a little jerk whenever i shift gears in my ford figo TDCI. Mechanic told bed issue and replaced Engine bed "B" & "C". Noise reduced. still i dont feel comfortable like driving a new car of my friend. is there any other engine bed which needs replacement other than B & C. Or the issue is from clutch / transmission. need your views...

There're mainly 3 mounts for engine AB nC, one for engine one for transmission and one torque resistor. the 3rd one if failed can cause this "thud" sound when shifting. Else if that sound comes when changing gears ie while pressing can suspect a clutch too. This comes mainly when engaging n dis engaging the clutch to change the gear.

which means the bushing is quiet solid and good. Its a bit hard to with good bushings.

You could spary some wd40 on the bushing, both side wait for some time and try again.

Myself havinf Vista. A "Gurk Gurk" noise coming from the left shock absorber side. I thought that lower arm lubrication issue, i lubricated them-but no use same sound coming when there is a action in shock absorber. I checked with local mechanic, he said left to change struct assembly fully 😳. I confused... Kindly suggest what will be the problem...

Growling sounds are basically rubbing sound when two metals rub each other. So have to check if there's anything touching each other.

@@dailyhandsdiy Ok. I will check. My car was crossed 33,000 km only. Was suspenssion got weak at this kms? Mechanic says suspension weak in left side, change both front suspension "struct assembly".

33k for a suspension is quite early. And you dont have to change both suspension because left side suspension will suffer more torture than right as its often dragged to side paths and side ways. So in almost cases left will go first and right will have more life sometimes double. Is there any leak from suspension?

Sir,figo 1.4 car me gear oil cas per company life long chilte hai,it it true ?ur opinion plz.my car 10 yrs old now no change of gear oil& belt

Yes bro, if its company fit oil, then no need to wry till the shifts become harder. And if changed befor with aftermarket ones, u need to change it every 40k kms. And belt if u ment timing, it needs changing at 1 lak kms and if alterntr belt, need changing when it starts to squeek or if you see grove breakages.

If the links are good it stays there. Else if any one is bad, then it moves to the opposite side. Permenent solution is to give shorter links so it wont touch the lower arm.

Any link can be used, but the link shouldn't be too short. I think the new figo's is a bit shorter. i guess. but be sure about the length. swaybar should be jst above the lower arm. May be an inch shorter could be used.

What to do if we have bad/damaged sway bar bush?
