Thank you! Just replace glass with a salvage piece. Went in fine, but seal was shot. Yours is only video i could find for replacing the seal.

Nice video! One tip for getting the 2 ends to fit is to fit the 2 ends together and press into place (about 1" from each end) before installing the extrusion on each side (the next 5 or 10 inches). The extrusion is designed to be a little bit too long (they usually shrink over time) so you have to compress the extrusion on one or both sides. If you can first fit the 2 ends and then some extra material on each side, you have a longer area that is getting compressed so it usually goes better.

I don't believe this type of seal has two ends, it is a single circular section with the ends bonded together.

@@JasonWW2000 -Correct, the seal is a joined loop. The proper method, with any rubber seal is to never pull/stretch as you install it. I was cringing right when he started cause I knew how it would be when he got to the last part. This also can throw off the corners a bit. I applaud that he made the video though. In this case, I would have wrapped the entire seal around the frame first, even if one has to temp tape at the corners. Then try to get all four corners started (about two inches in both directions). Then go to the middle of one long side and install there moving out only one inch in both directions. Choose either right or left of there and go to the middle point between a corner and what you just installed there, working out right and left till you get all that portion in place. Repeat this on the remaining sections and it should all go in without bunching. It also helps to add a bit of silicone sealant to keep it from ever shifting and helps fight shrinkage. I work with high end doors and windows that have some crazy seals normal fenestration products do not.

Great video. Need your help! do you know if the sunroof panel glasses from a 2021 F150 super crew are the same as previous year model? I know the part number changed, but cannot see any different other than the controllers... do you know? I have both panels broken and the 2021 part is out of stock with not ETA! but I measure the glass from another F150 from previous year and it is the same length! par number for 2021 is ML3Z-16500A18-A and the part number for a 2020 it is Fl3Z-16500A18-A any thoughts I will really appreciated as dealer does not help.

Mine is at the dealership now for the panoramic sunroof. The seals are bad and the price to fix it cost right at $3800+tax. I’m mind blown that a five year old truck is having this issue.

Brother mine one is getting stucked at closed position then I force it with my hand to open it get stuck from the back the position where it goes back please guide what to do ? The body and seal when contact to each other it get stuck it's due to seal ???

Might need to be readjusted. The glass. Lightly loosen up the screws and move it.

What year? Is f150 sunroof the same. I have a 14 limited with bad gasket
