Ford explorer removing the timing cover and 02 sensors!

What was the miles on this vehicle? Seems to me the waterpump and spark plugs should have been done at this time if it was around the 100k mile range. I know from labour rate book the timing cover pays near 9 hrs and water pump pays near 11 hrs. You have to take timing cover off to do water pump . You have to take upper intake off to do rear spark plugs , it’s already off to get the valve cover off.

The comment I was looking for. That water pump should of been replaced that thing is a hassle and expensive to replace

Hell yeah man! I just did the water pump and timing chain on this one! There’s an 8mm that’s hidden on the cover which maybe I believe the previous mechanic forgot and tried to pry it off and cracked it, but getting that timing cover in and out without banging it around and smearing the gasket maker was the trickiest part! But man was it a good feeling once it’s done!

Replacing o2s I usually just cut the wires off only when I know I have the right replacement on hand saves the o2 sockets

Start with a good set of tools dosent have to be dewalt or snap on or milwaukee none of that too dollar stuff i tried all them and honestly cheap ol pittsburg has the best warranty and alot of specialty tools

There's an electric clip on the back passenger side of the rear valve cover. How the hell do you get it off? Im doing the water pump in my wife's and can NOT get that clip off. Its roughly at 2:55 in the vid.

It's weird when you work all day. Answering youtube questions that have already been answered seems kinda dumb.
