2 1000 ca marine batteries will fit comfortably in the engine bay. Just did it on my 2001. Does require washer relocation with a smaller unit.

Nice build but having drawers that can only be open from the rear can be problematic in bad weather.

How'd you remove the seats?

How do you keep cool in the hot weather at night?

Would this be something I could have built for my 2000 Expedition and when ready I could make the drive to pick it up?

Yes, a level 1 version of this platform can be built ahead of time for pick up.

I have a 2002-Expedition.. how much for just the bed and drawers.?
