Hauling a 1993 grocery getter back to the farm today.

Do you have any concerns about today's work?
A recent ice storm has left the ground and our trailer slippery. We're attempting to get this old Ford back to the farm before more precipitation starts falling.
Why did you decide to do this?
Enjoyment and the opportunity to save some money by bringing a cheap, reliable car back to life.

What would you improve, if anything?
We would like to have a better equipped and able trailer for today's work, but we use what we have.

We complete work in a small 2 stall garage with limited space. You can do anything you would like to do, no matter the space you have, just plan accordingly and adjust your plans to the size of your workspace. We Believe In YOU!

Are you able to do lots of work in a limited space?
Yes, without question. The biggest issues we face in our 2stallgarage are organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity. Basically, if I see a clean workspace, I'm much more ready to dive into a project or even just scheduled maintenance like today's oil change.

Grocery getter find of the year so far!
Had a 93 Escort 2 dr hatch 5-speed from 96 to 03. Over 200K on it when it left me. Good car. The achilles heel of these cars is the CVH (SPI on later Focus) engines which usually drop a intake valve seat at around 130-150K miles resulting in major engine damage.

My wife's mom had a 94, that car was sunset metallic red (Pink) and it saved my wifes life. Wife was driving down the highway and an oncoming car came into her lane and she hit it right before there rear wheel doing 100 kmph, poor little escort, all the airbag's deployed and my wife walked away with some whiplash and bruising, the escort looked like a pringles chip but amazingly still started after the crash, had over 400,000 on the odometer and never missed a beat. Other diver was high and apparently heading to work, his tool box flew from behind him and clocked him in the head so I didn't have to, long lasting head injury for him, I'm sure the drugs didn't help with his brain damage.

Have a 93 lx wagon and the best 300 dollar investment ever made, has a lot of mustang pieces that fit and others that needed a bit of adaptation but it worked!! I call it the muswagon

@2StallGarage only thing wrong is it doesn't like to go past 55 mph for some reason, thinking fuel filter might be clogged or there's a exhaust leak somewhere.. idk yet, I'm picking it up sometime early next week. Oh an I got it for 100$

@@2StallGarage this is the first 5 speed I’ve owned I learned how to drive a 5 speed in a 97 ford ranger at the age of 12 last time I drove one was when I was 18 and now I’m almost 23

@@ethancropp600 We really liked it. We made 27-32 mpg depending on how we drove it. I liked it because most of them are gone these days.
