I'm so happy with my 2014 Escape Titanium! Kinda wish your tester, Steve, has the Dual Panel Vista Roof to show people who aren't familiar with this vehicle how much more luxurious it is!

The 2.0 is a sweetheart engine- great quick, and great torqe as well. Love my 2015 Titanium. The battery replacement is a chore- although it only comes up every 4 or 5 years.

Speaking of the Edge... when will you give that a test drive? (You'll probably get the top of the line Sport with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, and it's luxury cousin Lincoln MKX.)

+TestDriveNow.com featuring Auto Critic Steve Hammes I'm glad you're doing the Edge. We sat in one and were really impressed with the room and interior quality. Didn't want to bother the salesman just yet. I know you'll give a very good, honest, and thorough review, as always.

Pedro - I get that request a lot but they seldom exist in manufacturer press fleets. Sorry.

No need to apologize, I still enjoy your reviews very much, but I realize sometimes people don't want to spend all that money on options, or the high lever version of a particular model. For example, why buy a fully loaded Corolla, when, for similar money you can get a base Camry? Much "more" car for similar money.

+pedrof830 some people care about the extra features, and have no need for more car size.

What is the difference between the titanium and titanium EcoBoost?

The 2016MY was offered with 3 engines and two of them were EcoBoost (turbocharged.) Titanium is the top level trim.

Yes you are right. This generation reviewed came of 2.0, 1.6 and 1.5 engine and all of them had engines that would leak coolant and destroy the engine and also have cracked engine blocks.

I'm sure it's a great car. ...but it sure are ugly, inside and out. .........Ford could do much better than this. ...................would like to see it more square and rugged and manly. ......but these days there is not many suv's and 4x4's that is looking square rugged and manly in a simple design. ......those days are behind us. ....sadly.

+John Grytbakk It's not ugly if you don't like square. This isn't a 1992 Yukon.
