    Love my 21 🌵 grey OuterBanks 0--0. Got the Lux package and Sasquatch. Went to Bronco Rodeo in NH and saw what these machines could do and was not disappointed 👍

    I agree that the market is inflated and the price after dealer markup makes it harder to want to buy right now. I love Jeep (I've had 3 Grand Cherokees and still have a J10 pickup) and I would love to have a Wrangler, I just struggle with the tighter interior because of my size. Plus having a wife and 3 kids is why I'd lean towards the Bronco (stock) for being able to fit my family and out stuff for a trip.

    First, awesome intro. That scene is so cool! I need to visit that area. Great review. Needs more offroad testing! I feel that the Bronco is better quality than the wrangler, but im not a fan of the 2.7. I rather have a twin turbo v8 haha. I rather own a classic Bronco. The walkout camera view is different... almost like VR. New sub here!

    I recently saw a new Bronco Sasquatch pkg at dealership in Alpena MI, red color, removable hardtop, just beautiful. Window sticker said mpg was 17. That's Not Desent at all, piss poor! I asked how much weight could it tow? Salesman couldn't answer my question. It had same engine as the one you had in this video. So, can you get a tow pkg, and how much will it tow??

  • @MOHAWKAUTO

    @MOHAWKAUTO

    9 ай бұрын

    I just went to Ford's website and built a Bronco and was able to add a tow package and according to their site, it has a max towing of 3,500 pounds. I don't think this vehicle was designed with much towing in mind. The window sticker for estimated MPG doesn't match what we've seen in the real world up to this point as we're getting better mileage. Our Bronco is equipped with the 2.7 Ecoboost.

  • @MOHAWKAUTO

    @MOHAWKAUTO

    I think the Bronco is better in how much room it offers inside. The Wrangler has legendary off road performance that is undeniable, but a lot of that is thanks to the large aftermarket community. Out of curiosity, I built the cheapest Wrangler I could on their website and did my best to match the features and the price was similar. However, the Wrangler is far more underpowered and offers an 8 speed transmission compared to Ford's 10 speed which keeps the Bronco in the right power band better and should offer better fuel economy. Maybe I should do a comparison video?

    It depends on the trade-off you want to make. Jeep is better off-road, Bronco is better on-road, both are capable of being good on and off-road. I ended up with the Bronco as it was the better deal and best for my use. Not counting the 392 or 4xe, I couldn't see running the Jeep, as the other engines are just are gutless.

    @@mpeugeot what aspects make the Jeep better off road? What kind of bronco did you go with

  • @mpeugeot

    @mpeugeot

    11 ай бұрын

    @@JustJosh101 The solid front axle is generally better for articulation, the steering rack/tie rods are stronger (other than Raptor and HOSS 3.0 WildTrak variants), the Jeep is easier to lift than the Bronco, and finally the jeep is more narrow which allows it to navigate tight trails better. All of these are compromises, as IFS gives better high speed handling and the Bronco is more comfortable both due to the extra room inside and the IFS front suspension. I have two modified OBX non-sasquatch 2 door 2.7 v6 Broncos with the advanced 4x4 transfer case and rear lockers. One is a 2021 lux package ($48k} and the other is a 2023 high package (which I purchased new for $11k under MSRP for $40k). The 2021 now has a Badlands suspension ($1200/new) with HOSS 3.0 steering rack ($800/new) and 2023 has an upgraded stereo ($1000), Everglades suspension ($500/used under 1k miles), and will eventually get the HOSS 3.0 steering rack as well. So they are not exactly as delivered anymore. FWIW, I have over 75k miles on the 2021 Bronco.

    @@MOHAWKAUTO that is a short question with a very long answer. Bottom line is I followed Ford protocols for flat towing the vehicle towed successfully over 15 times over 2000 miles and then the 16th time the car would not engage the transmission. The transmission was fried and Ford told me it was because I did something wrong, then they charged me over $6000 to fix it. That is the bottom line flat Towing a bronco is risky business at best.
