I had one. I paid £14 quid for it That is what second hand cars like that, could be bought for in the 1950s/60s we would all pile into it and go to Southend If it broke down we would leave it down a side street and jump a train home and forget it ever existed...

I thought their highest and best use is as a blown fuel altered drag car. At least in my eyes.

My Dad took me to Ireland in 1967, on a Vickers Vanguard aeroplane, to visit friends of his in Drogheda. He hired an 1100 car for the week, registration, CIY 198, so should be County Louth.

I have two brake drums, front I think, with the bearings for one of these cars, An E93A? If anyone is interested, shame to recycle / scrap them.
