I especially enjoyed the sound of the engine on your tractor. My dad had a 1952 Ford 8N and there were times when I was twelve years old while spending the summer with him. I helped find firewood. There were times he would let back the tractor up to a fallen tree, hook it up and pull it up to the barn where he would cut them up and split the logs.

I enjoyed your video. I have a Ford 8N. glad to see your getting good use out of it.

My dad had a 1952 Ford 8N for years. After he and my stepmother moved he sold it. Was sorry to see it go but understood why.

Excellent video- I can just about smell the wet leaves in that crisp air.

I need a 8n

That's a very dangerous way to pull a log. The high hook gives great traction but makes 8n's very prone to roll overs. Hook low off the drawbar or pull backwards or keep an implement on the back ... Box blade or pond scoop work great. You also don't want to break that cast iron piece intended for the top link.

When I was twelve years old my dad and used his 1952 Ford 8N to pull fallen trees up to the barn. Sometimes I myself hooked them and pulled them. Nothing ever went wrong

I eyeing up a ford 8n and seeing what it can pull out I hope it still there.. Keep in mind tractor tires has no traction going backwards I lerned the hard way

When you dont have much room to turn around. Turn your wheels then hold the brake on the same side and backup. You can spent it around in a circle
