He would remind us to speak out language. We lived in uk and most kids spoke english and no other languages

True, I'm Indian(Punjabi) born in the West, and Asian dads have no relationship with their kids at all. Father and son relationships are built on fear, not respect. Most sons don't know how to even talk to their dads. It's a destructive cycle.
