The rain has been wild this spring, glad you're finally getting something done. Home from work today because it's raining again. Maybe we will get something done ...eventually 😂

We haven't gotten anything done in Southeastern Indiana. Good ole Ohio Valley clay ground. Neighbors put some corn in two weeks ago, but got heavy rains after, 1.5 inches in 24 hours. Not looking like a great stand, glad we held off ultimately.

Some years there is just no good stretch of weather. Been going gangbusters here in eastern ND . But this is our normal seeding/planting date. Rained out today.

We have the same problem here in PA, I was able to get my vegetable ground planted around the end of April, dad has been trying to get beans in the ground for a week or so but no dry days for the next week or so, he told me this morning he's trying to rent our county's no till drill because there's not enough time to dry down enough for a tillage pass then dry down again enough to get our drill over the ground

At least you got something in the ground, which is saying something for the kind of weather we've had in the East this spring.

At least you broke the ice on planting the 5 acres, like you said, the hardest part is initially getting planting, once the first few acres are in it tends to go. Take care OFB🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

Feels like it hasn't stopped raining here for a month. Like, I did see the sun today for a few minutes, then overcast, then dark skies & thunder showers, oops a couple more minutes of sun & now it's night again & sprinkling... Hayfield is loving it but hay don't pay like corn or beans.

Ethan, it's good that you were able to get some ground planted. Hopefully the weather will hold out where you can get the rest of your ground planted fairly soon. Thanks Michael

Take the good days when ya can. Just alittle somthing to reflect on, just a simple ear plug to help muffle noise some. Trust me your ears will thank you in later years. You know what they say, if it was easy everybody would do it. Take care

Beans are about all we have left around here for the most part. Corn and rice are in (which corn and rice are always put in around April down here), so beans are all that's left. And cotton for some guys, but we don't do cotton much on our research farm, so...

Worked up good we are hoping to get back in the fields by Friday hopefully. But Oklahoma can’t seem to make up its mind on rain. We are gonna be cutting it close this year. Guess we will find out since the seed is paid for.

If 90 percent of ground works ok that's Michigan. Them Illinois boys are spoiled, if they had to farm mich dirt they would cry like a day care choir.
