Below is the breakdown of the "specialty cards" you can pull. These numbers are listed on the pack of each individual pack and on the back of the box they came in. The one thing I wish Upper Deck/Funko would have done is included an insert to show a sample of each card because the names are not exactly obvious. The special cards you discovered are the most common of these special cards, so it makes sense that you had the most silver cards (platinum), followed by gold, spectrum (gold glitter background), and then patina (foil/holographic). The numbers listed below tell you how often you can expect to pull a card based on the number of packs you open. For example, you can expect to pull 1 gold card for every 5 packs you open. Make sure you look at your cards clearly under lights. I had a glow in the dark card in one of my cards and I didn't even notice until looking at my cards a second time around. Platinum - (1:1.5) Gold - (1:5 retail) Spectrum - (1:5 retail) Patina - (1:10 retail) Convention - (1:20 retail) Facsimile Signature - (1:80 retail) Glow in the Dark - (1:160 retail) Clear Cut - (1:288 retail) Confetti Bomb - /99 Red Glitter - /10 (retail only) Spectrum Facsimile Signature - /5 Printing Plates - 1/1 (each has Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow versions) Prototype - 1/1

So there are some very rare cards other than the redemption. Might have to buy a few packs just to check em out. Appreciate the info on them 👍

From what ive seen, each set has a special embossed card, I think it is... its the card Im sure that will be worth money as it has a limited number that exists of it. Id look to see if any of your cards have like a 1/99 or whatever and feels different. Oh I think there are glow in the dark cards too? Its been awhile but Id check for that too. I dont collect them but they are cute ♡

Im having fun collecting them the first 2 packs I bought the first had the redemption I was happy and I’m more curious about if they will continue them with different franchises and yea I likem

Oh , and watch for the convention exclusives, they look the same, but have a yellow little box in the bottom right side…

I am collecting them. I enjoyed card collecting as a kid and I am enjoying the Funko cards so far. I have opened 90 packs. Almost 4 boxes worth and pulled 5 redemptions. It is cheaper to just buy the redemption cards, but you miss out on a chance of a super rare. I pulled 2 super rares so far. I'm not sure if I'll keep them, or sell since they are expensive to buy second hand. They would earn all my money back if I sell. I'm shooting for at least 6 redemptions to increase odds for the chase, but may keep opening more just for fun. 😀

If I had these cards, I would like to try and get all the pops to match each card I had

Watch out for the Glow in the Dark cards! They look exactly the same as a normal card but glow if you put a special light on it… i went back thru my few boxes i bought and found two GITD cards!

The odds are on the back of the packet and the different types you can get

Some of the cards look like they were made by the upper deck marvel beginnings team. They share alot of similarities. They even have 1/1 art cards. The difference is that the beginning cards are $20 for 45 cards at target. So $90 for the same amount of cards you get for $189 from funko.

When are we going to get the Captain America funko pops from Upper Deck?

It's hard to say only because we don't really collect cards. 🤣 We probably won't do this again unless they are on sale maybe.

i would collect em if there was a game but thats what stopped me from getting em

These remind me of the old topps Pokémon cards from the late 90s and early 00s. Would've thought they would put more thought into the art for these considering how cool most TCGs artworks are now. Not to mention how expensive these are compared to everything else on the market per pack

These are the worst marvel cards I’ve ever seen .if you like marvel buy marvel allure , you can pull cap autos and just about every other character. Atleast with marvel allure there is a chance to pull 10k dollar cards
