    Been waiting you to do G6 review for so long! I have been looking around for the details on interior working space especially on the Smith machine, and you are the only one really shown how much space it has! Wish you also shown it in the front angle instead of only 45 degree 😁. I'm debating between G6 and G9, will you be covering it soon?

  • @StevieRichardsFitness

    @StevieRichardsFitness

    The G9’s interior working space is: 43 in (W) x 34 in (D) x 79 in (H) Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to go in-depth on the G9, but it’s also a 1:1 cable pullley ratio.

    Which one would you choose, G6 or G9? I don't have very big space but able to fit G9 no problem. I like G9 because the price, internal work out space, counter balance Smith machine. I am considering G6 because of its weighted plate, make the exercise easier and faster, also 2 people can perform different exercises at the same time on functional training.

    If I had to choose at this point, I’d always get the model with the weight stacks. I don’t mind the plate loaded aspect, but there are some limitations. Also, it’s too cumbersome for my wife to load and unload our bumper plates. I’ll be uploading a comparison video of plate loaded vs. weight stacks soon. f you decide to purchase, please use the affiliate link and enter the code STEVIE5 at checkout. Thanks.

    Stevie, great video! I bought a G6 early 2020 and it really is a godsend piece of equipment. It is exactly identical to the review you've just shown; though I'm hoping if you can get a chance to demonstrate the effectiveness of the lower leg exercises in future reviews? As I'm having issues with the leg press plate attachment and it just seems to me that it feels like its going to slip off? Thank you.

  • @StevieRichardsFitness

    I can definitely do a review on this type of leg press attachment. By slipping, do you mean when you go to re-rack the leg press and have to do sort of a “toe raise” to get the hooks in the holes?

    @@StevieRichardsFitness Yes, exactly. What's more, though I have seen some product marketing from FORCEUSA and a few other videos done by local suppliers of this product? There does not seem to be a great deal of demonstration in the use of such a product for lower body exercises even though the G6 in this case has a an exercise chart at the back. Thanks.

    Hey Steve great stuff, you are the only one who has covered the narrowness of the smith machine on the G6 when doing bench press, you are taller than me and you seen pretty comfortable using it so thanks, i do have a question tough, what about shoulder press or even overhead shoulder press do you think would work ok too, your feedback much appreciated.

  • @StevieRichardsFitness

    @StevieRichardsFitness

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey Harold, Seated shoulder press is definitely fine for me and I’m 6’2”. The sacrifice of some interior working space is made up for with the small footprint width-wise. Of course, the G6 is taller than others and for people with low ceilings, this can be a dealbreaker. If you do decide to purchase anything, please use my link: www.forceusa.com/stevie

    If a long armed person cant use the safety stops of the Smiths( because elbows will hit them) what use is it over a similar rack/cage without a Smiths? Thanks for your review. Very informative. Not every piece of gear will work for everyone and every place.

    Hi, hoping you can help. How far do the cables come out on the g6 and g9? The cables come really far out on the g3 and I really like that feature.

  • @StevieRichardsFitness

    @StevieRichardsFitness

    3 жыл бұрын

    The G6 is about as tall as the G3 and has a similar range for the cables. Obviously, one is plate loaded and the other weight stacks, so plates may touch the top before the stacks. The G9 is a little shorter and wider, but I haven’t experienced any limitations on range using it. Cable exercises that I’ve done going away the furthest- cable flyes, face pulls, serratus pulldowns- haven’t giving me trouble with hitting the end of the pulleys. • @StevieRichardsFitness

    In my opinion, you can do everything using the G6 that you can do on the G20. The G20’s best feature is the ability for, up to, 3 people to train at the same time and the full commercial aspect. Also, it’s a 1:1 cable pulley ratio. The G6 has a 2:1 cable pulley ratio and less interior working space than the G20. With that being said, the G6 is a great all-in-one trainer. I had the previous model and it was great for our family. If you do decide to purchase the G6, please use my link: www.forceusa.com/stevie

  • @jennifers2202

    I have yet to experience cables breaking nor anyone who has one. We’ve had the G15 Pro in a non-climate controlled garage and there’s no deterioration of the cables and power coating. @StevieRichardsFitness

    2 жыл бұрын

    I think the most important question is the dimensions of your spare bedroom. If the G12 fits, I’d definitely go for that since the 1:1 cable pulley ratio will benefit you in your competitive wellness profession. Make sure to check the height and width of your room. The G6 is a little higher while the G12 is a little wider. If you do decide to purchase, please use my link: www.forceusa.com/stevie

    Those J-hooks are complete trash. No offense but they need a redesign ASAP. That bolt is right where you'll be racking the weights and screwing up our barbells. How hard is it to copy every other J-hook out there REP, Rogue, Titan etc.... They at least need to remove the head of that bolt because that is right in the way of racking. Can't believe they even released it like that

    Lol I have the g6 and I completely agree. I keep hitting the bolt when re racking. And no UHMW plastic but cheap silicone lol! I'm looking for other jhooks. You notice that you can't see the numbers either? I think if they laser cut the numbers it would compromise the integrity of the uprights. Why? Because they are so damn thin. Most parts are good on the G6 but others you can definitely see where they took shortcuts and saved money. With the high cost they charge you expect 100 percent of a product but it's not

They used cheap silicone on the J-hooks too lol? Damn! No I didn't notice the numbers. Yeah, I think they focus too much on giving you quantity of attachments over quality across the board. I hope you find some quality J-hooks that'll work for you

    @@StonedRambo01 I tried emailing with other complaints but they just blow me off. yeah the numbers are laser etched and the reflection distorts identifying them. @@DoritosResidue Yeah I was looking at the Inspire ft2 when I bought my Rogue RM-6. Looks pretty sick! You might want to check out the Prime Fitness HLP racks. They have one with the weight stacks and a plate loaded one that would save some money. The quality on those are next level. If it was out when I purchased my Rogue I would've jumped on it instead. that would probably be in the ballpark of buying both the Inspire and the REP separately. If more than one person was gonna workout at the same time the Prime probably wouldn't be a good choice though.
