Ooh that's a good cover. One of my favourite Rush songs too. I can hear that a couple of the vocals were a bit of a stretch, but it worked out splendidly.

Excellent, gentlemen, sounds great! One of my favorite 80s Rush songs! Karl has really dialed-in Alex's tone for this tune. As a keyboard geek I'm wondering how you are triggering the keyboard parts - is someone pulling those in via a foot controller?
@tribeofnames6189

Thanks Brian, really glad you enjoyed it. As for how we achieved the keys, we kept it as close to the Rush methodology as possible, a little sample triggers from the drums, some sequencers and some clever use of stomps.

What in-ear monitoring system are you using? And how do you use it?
@hescottbeats1
2 жыл бұрын
hi dean, we use a zoom livetrack-20. it’s got 6 independent monitor sends that can go to in-ears or speakers. most of us are using kz-pro monitors. we also use behringer pm-1’s so each person can control the overall volume on their own

Tom. What's that thing over the nut of your bass?
@tribeofnames6189
2 жыл бұрын
Hey Dan, Simon here. Tom sometimes misses the comments on ToN vids but I can tell you that the device sitting at the end of the nut is a string mute. It's designed to be pulled onto the neck to stop unwanted ringing of other strings. Hope that answers your question.
