i had no idea what to expect before starting my first year (HBA1) at ivey. i had a conditional offer to the program (advanced entry opportunity) from applying in my grade 12 year, but no one told me what ivey was really like. what's a section? how do i land an internship? is it true that students go out every week? is the building actually worth $110 million?

hi rachel if you could go back in time would you choose western again? i got deferred from rotman into uoft social science but i love toronto😭 on the otherhand i have bmos (ivey awaiting + not sure london excites me but im into business) so i literally can’t choose. thank you😭

hi!! omg i totally understand - i was also strongly considering uoft because i wanted to be in the city. london is obviously not as big as toronto but the campus is pretty spread out and i chose it because it’s larger than other unis (ex. queens). i think the western campus (esp ivey building!) is actually really pretty - i’d definitely choose it again. another thing is that you’ll most likely be working in toronto full-time, and i think it’s nice spending your uni years in a small town. at the end of the day your program is what’s most important - hope that helps and good luck with your decision :)
