I respected what Quinton did before CSA forced him to take the knee. He should have stuck to his morals and flown back to SA without regret of action. As with that famous quote "The only winning move is not to play" , I think the same is applicable to fighting racism in sport, I.E. the whole team chooses not to play until there is referendum in place that dedicates itself to change. Who knows, maybe that is what he was thinking as well but it seems that people only think through emotion. Either way, taking the knee is as useless as sprinkling a cup of water on a raging fire.
