Hello, I have a question, when I use a power amp, should I turn off the power amp and cabinet emulation from the ax8? And anything else?

Quick question from around 2016 or so. Haunted were supposed to play HOB Orlando (I was in Orlando travelling from Canada at the time) and when I saw that the band would be there I was pretty fckng happy! However. You weren’t allow to play the venue - how come?

Why does Ola use a power amp and a cab for live gig? Did the AXE FX isn't enough to go in Front of house and in In Ears ?

Is there an actual preset for the main Rhy. Available And the IR used? I have an AX-8 My amps don’t get that type of full metal tones

I should've kept my AX8 after purchashing the FM3. The FM3 is awesome but In my opinion I feel like building tones on the AX8 was such a breeze and super simple. The FM3, feels like you have to deep dive into the tweaking aspect of it to get it to sound right..

@@korbenward Definitely worth it, I only sold mine because I only use about 2 or 3 effects and I tend to stick to 1 rhythm sound through out my set list.

Sweet man I think I’m gonna go ahead and buy it! I also don’t use a lot of effects but I love the crystal clear shimmery reverb tones and the gain sounds from it just sounds so damn good at everything

@@korbenward The amp models and effects are top notch. If you are into heavy tones you can watch Ola England he explains some of his live or recording tones, and for any genre Leon Todd has some sweet tutorials on presets and effects for the Ax8.

i would love to buy it, but i don't want any haunted equipment in my house...

@@poorman9259those “shortcomings” of the Fractal also apply to the Quad Cortex. Or Kemper. Or Helix. None of them are amps. I proudly own them all though.
