I actually bought this car and still drive it It has 118,000 on it now I have done a few maintenance repairs on it but it runs well!

Well alright! Looks and sounds beautiful 😍 give her a good prevention maintenance and she will run with no problema! Do fool Change of the oil and filter of the automatic gear box to keep it healthy💪 by the miles you say should be on time to change,.. 👌😎 Nice ride and video!! Cheers from Portugal.

The burl walnut was standard.The birdseye maple was the optional upgrade.

It's a shame someone vandalized it, if you have the auction photos you might be able to have the auction company reimburse you. A good detail and a bit of maintenance and that is easily a 10k+ car. A good series of wins with the A6, GX's, and now this.

I have a new battery in my 06 E350 and I have that same light it’s something else not battery

Yes there is some kind of parasitic draw on the battery I believe the alternator has tested good

Its actually the small battery in the front. Its for the electronics. I had the same light on and bought one in the dealership and had my mechanic put on it. It fix the problem and it has warranty.

Hey Joe, nice video as always. Would you say these are a semi-reliable choice with the N/A V6 and no Airmatic? I know the E550 was a nightmare, but this is a sweet car for under $10k. Seems less complicated than the V8s. I know a friend who's had a CLK 350 for about 15 years with minimal issues. Would you recommend? Edit: From the video it looks like you might have some electrical gremlins going on with your turn signals, flashing out of time and only on the right side. Hopefully this is an easy fix.

If you're after reliability I'd go for a W210, they lack some modern features but the Chrysler Era of Mercedes wasn't brilliant, have you seen Joe's video of the alarm and lock gremlins?

W210 is always my favorite. But this E350 may not be that bad since it does not have airmatic. But I know there is a balance shaft issue with these cars. The entire AC system has been replaced her Carfax on this particular one

@@joespittle1 Yes, that was crazy. Am I right in saying that maintenance is KEY for these cars? If they've had a rough life they'll make yours rough too.

@@JoesGoldenGarage Hmm, I see. Seems like any older MB would be a bit of a gamble. Mileage & amount of maintenance are key I'm sure. Hope yours is good to you, it's a lovely car.

@@benjamindoyle668 Yes, make sure to look through the maintenance history and check that it has been serviced on time and had the common flaws looked over/corrected. Small details like the overall condition and how clean it is tells you a lot about how the previous owners took care of it. If you need any help on what to check and look out for Mercedes Source has a masses of info on his channel.
