This is our 1965 Corvette. It has a rare 396/425hp motor in it with a 4-speed manual transmission. It is Glen Green with rare green leather interior. Car is a 2x Bloomington Gold & NCRS Top Flight winner. It recently underwent a full frame-off restoration by a professional Corvette shop. Factory options include side exhaust, tinted glass, teakwood steering wheel, am/fm radio, and telescopic steering column. Car has its original Protect-o-plate. There's a typo in the opening slide in the video, this is most certainly a 396 car!

Sweet rare car. The only year Corvette made the 396. You have a gem there...Love Vettes, have a 95 vert, a 96 coupe Z51 handling package both with less then 25k miles and my pride and joy a 64 L76 327 / 365hp all matching numbers all documented 40k miles. Good luck selling her

wow that is a stunner. i've seen black, tan, red, and blue (and maybe white) leather interiors on these...never green. gorgeous

That's a very yummy car indeed! I became a true car guy at 12 years old, when I saw the October 1962 Road & Track at my cousin's house. The new '63 Sting Rays were on the cover. I was smitten with them ever since.
Wooow. What a beauty !
The greatest performance automobile ever manufactured. From its sleek exterior front and the rear V of the back windshield to the fighter jet cockpit dash gauges. Not to mention 425 hp of raw V8 insanity and instant torque, before any govt emmisions or fake exhaust sounds. In fact, through dino tests these vehicles actually dished out more than 425hp from the factory, but GM needed to remain within certain parameters to be street legal and thus marketable to the regular public. Tho what you see is what you get with this one - a bad m'fr beauty that'll still turn heads today, put the next stock performance car in it's place with ease and make them rumble in their seats while seeing nothing other than a rear V windshield with a racing flag emblem and a bowtie disappearing in the horizon before them.

A C8 Z06 Vette will hit 60 in exactly half the time - 2.6 seconds, brake from 70 in 50% less distance, corner at 40% higher G load, and hit a top speed 40% faster. And by the way, Corvette chief engineer at the time Zora Arkus-Duntov said the C2 Corvette had just enough front end lift at speed to be a bad airplane. This was fixed in the C3 Corvette, along with getting rid of the bus size steering wheel, and skinny wheel rims.
