Love this show and the retailer / designer wish it was on Hgtv with more updates instead of 2yrs up to 8yrs old video 3:07

I miss this show. I wish HGTV would bring it back.

This was my favourite episode. The client was so sweet & I loved the apartment she chose. Esp love the dance they do.

For Rent is the most unscripted housing show with virtually no annoying clients

I still loved the High-rise! It had a pool and full amenities! I love this show! ❤

I miss watching Property Virgins on KZread. I don't know why they removed it.

A smaller bed such as a twin size would gave been roomier. I didn't see a TV anywhere.... Overall , looked 👌

What a great couple. So easily pleased with the basics of life. I'm confused about apartment living in Canada. Here in the Midwest of the U.S. you are not allowed to change paint color and light fixtures unless management approves, and you have to put it back to the original when you move out.

They're looking in Toronto, I rent in Toronto and can let you know that generally it depends on the landlord, sometimes its explicitly written in the lease to not alter anything. But most times you can run something by the landlord and they're usually okay with it.

I have to say that I think Jodi is a sharp dresser.

The prices for rentals in Toronto have gone up a lot since 2010 when this aired. You would not be finding these deals now. ;)

That’s why you have to get creative now. I live in a 16 bedroom mansion right in downtown for $100 a month, and I only had to kill 12 people!

I'm gathering this program takes place in Canada. Have watched several episodes and I notice the use of terms such as "hydro" instead of "water" when referring to a water bill, and "wash room" instead of "bathroom". Am I right?

Yes, it's set in Toronto. The second most expensive city to live in within Canada.

Also, pretty much NO renter pays water in Canada (Or at least what I know of) unless they are renting a full house. When they say hydro, they mean hydro electricity :)

If I recall, HGTV paid a certain amount per client. I don't remember if it was $1,000 or $5,000.

I have been bing watching these for two days. It’s a good show but very staged. I keep seeing some reoccurring decorative pieces in every episode 😂 Also, the host, seems fake and irritated in some episodes . Not sure if she was having some bad days or she’s being her true colors. 😅
