I'm somewhat surprised that a strike involving the heel of the hand contacting the jaw is a legal slap, only because I feel that over time as techniques improve you are going to see a lot of first-strike wins by KO or so damages the opponent they cannot return fire. Of course, the very first fight here contradicts my thoughts. I also feel that to help legitimize this sport, instant video reviews to verify legal techniques should be used after every slap with a focus on consistency.

They need to disqualify guys for stepping, cuz they can still win even if they do it but it contributes to their opponent not being able to finish cuz they're hurt!! If they implemented that it would stop bc they'd be more careful of it and it would also be more fair!! 🤷

These are mostly palm strikes not slaps how is this allowed to keep happening they need to clean up the sport it would be better for longevity on the contestants
