Altan is awesome, Burak is marvelous. Two actors with extraordinary acting abilities. Comparison is unnecessary. I like both of them, and Burak is ♥️

In future seasons he will have a beard. Osman will get more mature with time as he get older and stronger physically, mentally and Spiritually. Like Sheikh Edabali said that Osman is an iron which needs to go through fire and water to be transformed into a sword. His character is building.

Having watched DE three times and now, I have seen the first season of Osman, I think that the actor Burak Ozcivit, is handsome and probably perfect for his role as Osman. His sword fighting skills aren't as fluid as Engin's, but that is down to individuality and different acting strengths. His horse riding skills are exceptional! I feel that the script in Osman is weak and the storyline isn't as well thought out. At times, it is rather far fetched, this isn't the fault of the actor, but of the writers, whom I feel have rushed this season and left many loose ends. There is also some very bad editing, especially in the last scene where the Kayi flags are flown over two sides of the castle and then as Osman flies the flag in the middle turret, the flags have disappeared. They need to make the next seasons much slicker, less drawn out and they need to spend more time on attention to detail, as they did in Drills Ertugrul.

Agree with you I think they rushed into it this is supposed to be the main series as ertugrul was made to show how the foundation of the ottoman was built and how he raised Osman. They need to take their time and make it live up to its expectations

Of course in season 1 osmans fighting would be a little weak . Now most of the actors fighting skills in k.o is much more stronger and better than the D.E actors . K.O season 2 really proved that most of the characters are full on warriors

Burak ozcivit is one of the hottest and most attractive Actor of Turkish showbiz I have seen him in Kara sevda as Kemal soydere and fall in love with him (Like millions of kara devda fans) he is absolutely magnificent in his role ..But I started watching Dirilis Ertugrul after kara seva and I really felt that Engin Altan was excellent as Ertugrul he made his mark As ghazi..He was not known much before Ertugrul series but he made people follow Dirilis ertugrul by his magnificent acting skill and the Noor of his face you can actually feel.. Besides people are more used to watch him as brave muslim warrior so they compared burak with Engin..But remember that burak can not copy Engin as an actor he needs to find his own space...But I still felt that burak looks more like a model (Bcoz he is so handsome, his walk and his beautiful eyes)when he enters on the screen I see him As a kemal soydere (He is unforgettable in that role) so this might be the case..But who knows what comes in near future... But yes Dirilis Etrugrul was much much interesting than kurulus Osman...(My personal view)

Burak is magnificent and absolutely perfect for this role. No one can do it more better than him. He deserves this role

As I cannot understand the language I have to watch the series with English subtitles. So I rely on Burak and other actors' tone of voice and facial expressions with the subtitles to follow the story. I think it is the best series I have ever watched and Burak Ozcivit is macnificent! Great actor! Love from South Africa.

Engin altan is a magnificent actor

The reason many people didn't watch the first three seasons as soon as they were released is cuz historical dramas aren't as popular as romance drama. And yes Altan wasn't that famous cuz he is older ( the previous generation actor. My dad's generation). But even with all those setbacks he still made people addicted to the drama by his acting and made ertugrul a household name. He deserves all the love he is getting and Burak is a handsome guy he has his good points but he really needs time to grow. I wish Altan received more money for what he did. I felt sad when I heard his salary. I am rooting for both the actors after all I still want to continue watching Osman.

Engin altan is not older...He started his role Ertugrul when he was 35 and after 5 seasons he is 4o-41...At the same time Burak ozcivit is 35 too when he started playing Osman....Yes Engin started looking older after season 4

@zaria kelvin the info in this video is not authentic. This is a clear lie that the first 3 seasons of diriliş ertuğrul were'nt a hit in turkey. I searched alot through the official channels of turkish media (especially after watching this video) and found out that the first 3 seasons of this drama were a massive hit in turkey as well breaking all the records (despite of it being a secular state). Initially the producer decided to make only 3 seasons of it but considering the demand of public they created 2 more seasons.

My entire family loved ertrugrul his unbeatable .. i didn’t expect to love osman that much but his amazing actor really loving it but i don’t think anyone could have played the role of osman better then burak himself i love him his absolutely great this role suits him his absolutely perfect i don’t think it suit anyone else besides him but i just want ertrugrul to join him .. this show would turn into fire .. they make awesome team just like suleyman shah playing in ertrugrul if its true based they should have ertrugrul there and do justice to his character miss him loads

no doubt Buraq is best choice.. it's start of serial.. as comparing to ertugral he is doing his best. Ertugral was also not looking mature at first but as he looks old his glamour cover everything. so wait and watch👌👍

Although I'm huge fan of Burak but I wasn't satisfied at first sight of kurulus Osman, but later he proved himself worthy for this role. Engin wasn't famous until 3 rd season and people comparing Burak with him from even 1st episode. In season 2 Burak is much improved and sensible according to his role. Its not Burak's mistake that storyline and script is weak but he is doing his job well. Hope for the best for the rest of seasons.

Burak is the perfect choice for the role . He is a brilliant and dedicated actor with incredible talent who lives the character he plays and delivers the emotions wholeheartedly using his special talent in expression with his eyes and voice. He is experienced and played different roles successfully in action, romantic, horror and historical roles. . He played the role of Kemal Soydere the faithful lover so brilliantly that millions of fans loved him , and the series got the Emmy award , but also he was internationally recognized for the historical role of Bali Bey. He is doing a great job as Osman and putting the professional training he got in practice like horse riding , sword fighting and arrow throwing . When Altan started Ertugrol he didn’t have many big roles but his acting improved with the running of the series.

They both are very talented , they lived the characters and performed the emotions brilliantly in addition to having a very strong chemistry together and worked in harmony. That’s why they are the perfect couple who are still remembered by the audience . Kemal Soydere is a great character, a chivalrous man and faithful lover who was impersonated by Burak wholeheartedly especially that he shares the same personality trait. If other actor did the role , it wouldn’t have gained the same success.

I'm totally disagree public feedback about burak.. Seriously burak is mind blowing, starting phase is aggressive but after episode 11 burak acting is outstanding especially his face expression.. Public feedback is acceptable bcz hwy have watch more than 300+ episodes of ertugrul, thats why their mind did not clicked for osman.. but after watching season 1.. they will forget ertugrul honestly..
