That's very cool bike. When we were kids my brother had a GT Mach 1 bmx. He wanted it so bad and my parents couldn't afford to get him one so he invited everybody that he knew to his birthday party and told them that he wanted to buy that bike and so to please not bring any present but to please donate 10 or $20 instead so that he could be able to get the bike.... It worked and he was able to get it

Wow that's cool he got it. I didn't have friends as a kid. I remember like 1 bday I had 2 friends over in 3rd grade. Only bday ever with friends over. Got my 1st ever model car from 1 and micromachine cars from other. I phucking ended up a mechanic after that.

@@SgtJoeSmith yeah I didn't have any friends as a kid either. Actually I still don't have any friends now. Not even 1. I remember those micro machines. Those were so cool😎.

@@SgtJoeSmith most of those people that he had to to his birthday party weren't actually friends they were instead just classmates. He invited his whole class to the local park that had a bike trail and a skate park.... I guess it was pretty genius on his part to do that... It was free so my parents didn't have to pay for anything all they had to do was bake a big cake and go to the free park. 😂

@@jdreynolds29 the 2 at my 3rd grade slumber party. Nick and Heath. Nicks parents owned the downtown pizza place on the courthouse square. he previously invited me with this ryan kid to his 3rd grade slumber party. with his little brother jimmy his parents let us have apartment to ourselves all night. yes at 3rd grade. we played gi joes and watched European vacation and laughed our asses off before bed. this was early mid 80s. me nick and heath played top gun at recess a lot. so i invited nick to return fav and heath. nick gave model corvette. heath micro machines. my 1st ever of either. heath didnt want to stay night so took him home. fast forward..... to jr high. i beat ryan in a 1 on 1 race so he sucker punched me and broke my nose. counselor gave him 3 day out of school suspension that saw it but principal that was friends with his dad changed it to 1. fast forward i quit HS after half a year in 9th, worked construction couple years. joined guard. got GED. went to local CC. became medic. last day of finals 2nd year at CC on way home i watch a 100mph+ car blow a stop sign in front of me and hit a cross traffic car. unknown to me at the time the car i been following prior to this happening was nicks mom. she been shopping in the neighbor town where i went to CC at that day and was on way home same time. i saw her after i ran to the cross traffic victim and examined her and told nicks mom to come talk to that victim and keep her from trying to get out of car while i checked on the upside down car in ditch. she did. thankfully. this was all before cell phones too. like 96 or 97. luckily an Esquad member i knew happen to come driving down the cross road from opposite way with radio at same time someone with car phone pulled up behind me to call 911. i was in my moms car so i had nothing. that was my 1st fatal car wreck scene I worked. and how 2 3rd grade slumber parties with the same kid ultimately led to it. like the movie Crash.
