Does it really matter if he explains or not? I have 40 total reps and I still think he won’t be tourney viable. His lights aren’t amazing and his changes are just fixes, regardless he can’t get heavys off of the toe stab oos as it isn’t confirmed anymore

Potentially yes depends on team composition. At high levels It will almost always be meta picks like raider, BP, hitokiri and kensei/law. Sadly there's not much diversity for picks.

At the moment, the following heroes are good viable picks; Shaman, Raider, Kensei, Black Prior, Berserker, Lawbringer, Hitokiri, Jiang Jun. 8/25 heroes After this you have decent picks but there are better choices from the above; Shaolin, Nuxia, Nobushi, Warden, Conq. 5/25 heroes The below are weak or worse picks; Peace, Cent, Glad, Highlander, George, Warlord, Valk, Orochi, Shinobi, Shugoki, Tiandi, Aramusha. 12/25 heroes

TL;DR: I say this genuinely, not with hate, I don’t appreciate PC players who aren’t part of a playerbase only temporarily joining to take a win then leave. Xbox/PS4 tournaments should be for their respective players, you already won your platforms tournament, leave the rest to the players who actually play those platforms. This is directly hurting the competitive community. Craic I’m genuinely a fan of your content and I enjoy what you contribute to the community immensely. But honestly I’m kinda disappointed with you guys in these tournaments. It felt really cheap for a bunch of PC players to butt in on tournaments that really weren’t for them. It’s cool to go for a PC win, you’re PC players, but why the console stuff? The Xbox tournament wasn’t on Xbox just incidentally. It was an Xbox tournament, it really should have been for Xbox players, that’s what everyone wanted to see, that’s what everyone was there for. There’s no point in these tournaments being on console if we are just gonna have PC players pop into them. It’s just not cool for a group of players who aren’t actual Xbox/PS4 player to temporarily join a playerbase they aren’t really a part of, take a tournament win from that playerbase, and then leave that playerbase behind until the next time you feel the need to come take another tournament win from them. Like you guys already won a tournament that was for your playerbase, why do you also have to jump into other playerbases you aren’t really a part of? Imo if you’re not a part of a playerbase you don’t really deserve to be competing with it. Nobody watches a console tournament to watch PC players on console, they want to see console players. Nobody plays a console tournament to compete against PC players, they want to fight other console players. It just makes the whole thing feel like a “okay cool we got what we wanted from you guys bye see you next time we want something from you”. This really makes it feel as though you guys are taking opportunities away from actual invested players who do play on these platforms. These tournaments give a chance for less recognized players to shine, and it sucks to see already recognized players who aren’t even a part of a playerbase just make a pit stop in it for the time being to take spots from players of those platforms and take a win from all of them. It’s like if you had an American soccer (football) major competition where all the best American soccer players and teams came together to compete for best soccer team in America, but all of a sudden a Brazilian team came in, beat everyone, and then left, justifying it as “well we’ve been to America a few times, and we were in America when we were playing, so that entitles us to compete in an America tournament that’s meant to show the best American players”. Console players as is have a much harder time being a part of and participating in the competitive community. And frankly doing stuff like this is doing a decent amount of damage to the competitive community you guys say you’re trying to support. Stuff like this takes the drive out of players from the most populated platforms. It makes viewers much less interested in watching tournaments because who tf cares about a tournament when it’s a formality just to watch the matches cause everyone knows who’s gonna win before the tourney has even started? You guys are helping in some ways by competing in off main platform tournaments. But Imo, you are doing more harm to the community than helping it when you take away the main appeal of a tournament, take spots from players who actually invest their time and energy into these platforms, take exposure away from less recognized players, kill the mood for most competitors who know they aren’t gonna win, and drain a lot of interest from viewers who know the second they hear your team’s name is in the tournament already are aware of who wins. I hope you know I don’t say this trying to spread hate or that I don’t like you guys playing tournaments. It’s just there’s a limit to how much you can be involved with things before you’re no longer adding to the community, your taking away from others in the community. I wanted to share this since I see you as an important figure in our competitive community and I don’t like seeing you do things that are I believe detrimental to the community at large. Part of the blame is on tournament organizers who should have ruled that players of the tournaments on other platforms shouldn’t also be allowed to compete in alternate platforms. But still I’d like to see you guys take the initiative to just let others play and compete for the top spot, especially since you had already won the most recognized and respected of the three tournaments. For the record I’m a hybrid console PC player. I started on console and still regularly play on it, but most of my time has been on PC for the past year. So I can see this from both perspectives.

I’m entirely aware that this is long as shit and it wasn’t intended to be this long. But when you’re on a plane bored out of your skull it’s easy to kinda get lost in something to take your attention away for a bit.
