Welcome the world of Dundee! I will second Icarus in classifying it as power metal. Gloryhammer is composed of Crown Prince Angus McFife, Ser Proletius: leader of the Knights of Crail, Hootsman: Barbarian of Unst, Dark Sorcerer Zargothrax, and the mysterious hermit Ralathor. BEFORE YOU REACT to any more GLORYHAMMER, please know that each album is a full story told through the songs. I'm not going to tell you that you need to react to them in chronological order, your channel your rules, I just wanted you to be in the know. The first album, Tales from the Kingdom of Fife, tells the story of the Angus McFife I's fight to avenge the destruction of Dundee and stop Zargothrax, set in the fictional dark ages (scotland?). The second album, Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards, follows Angus McFife XIII, descendant of Angus McFife I, on an intergalactic adventure to stop a re-awakened Zargothrax from destroying the Universe. The third album, which this song comes from, takes place when Angus McFife XIII gets sucking into an alternate reality where Zargothrax reigns.

This is definitely Power Metal, though the band calls it Interdimensional Space Metal.

As far as I know this qualifies as Powermetal... the band themselves calls it intergalaxtic space metal or something like that tho. And trust me.. they are awesome overall.. they managed to create a whole foctional universe just with their songs.

Gloryhammer are absolute gods at utilizing key changes, they do it in a ton of their songs yet it always has the same blast of energy when it comes

There is two kinds of people in this world, those who haven't heard Glory Hammer and those who like like Glory Hammer.

Don't know much about metal and heavy metal , but I do know I like this kind of metal ( as wel Nightwish and Baby Metal ). Loved it !!

These guys put out a great live show too! They are just as energetic and fun live. You might want to check out another band that involves one of their band members called Alestorm. It is Pirate Metal and it's exactly what is says on the tin.

Each album is a contained story building off of the last one.

You’ve got to listen to something with pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling! They do radioactive by imagine dragons and it’s incredible! Honestly...Lindsey Sterling is just a badass in general.

Sadly this is one I did not really enjoy. But I’m glad I had the chance to listen to it once. You can’t like everything, although it seems like you have so far. That’s not a criticism. It just shows how open you are to music. Any type of music. Is there anything that you don’t like? I’d be curious to find out.
