For Brian Jones & his fans

Музыка

This is a tribute for the unique relationship between Brian Jones and his loyal fans. Never cared for what they've said and done, the fans have supported him for more than 50 years. It's a tribute for yersterday, today and tomorrow's fans.
When a feeling grows deep in your heart it's destined to last forever. And nothing else matters.
Created with love and admiration by Ginny Lupin, a young fan.

Brian will never be satisfied by his technique or his playing skills. It always seemed to him less than his ambition as his ideal, if he works hard, the result inevitably disappoints him. Everything he plays frustrates him, it has always seemed to him that he could do better "better to see" ... From an absolute requirement, he was his most severe judge. No criticism inflicted harsher reprimands on him than those he addressed every day to his instrument every day, and as he grew older, the music seemed to him more difficult and useless. He suffered, as had to suffer the first Alchemists, that all that he heard or felt did not immediately turn into gold, RIP my boy !!

I hadn't seen all these photos before, thanks for making this vid LasLupin. My interest in the Stones only started last year as the Beatles have always been my favourite. However, Brian Jones is totally compelling to me, a fascinating charismatic character. Listening to Alexis Korner being interviewed in 1971 Brian was enthusiastic about starting a new blues band, another challenge for him but it would have been wonderful for him to have found a balance in his life and a passion again. What an awful trap Brian was caught up in, being sidelined in the band he started at age 20 when he had nothing and could he have really waved away all that fame, adulation and high life when he originally wanted to leave in 1965? I have found Pat Andrews' recollections (mother of his 3rd child) and Paul Trynka's book are excellent sources of information by the way. Thank you LasLupin!

Congratulations on yet another lovely tribute and I think the music is totally appropriate, it conveys Brian’s unique qualities and (hopefully) helps people better understand this complex young man. I feel this one is extra-important, it shows Brian as the man he truly was - a man who loved his fans and took the time to write back to them. +Las Lupin, Thank you for this beautiful tribute to Brian. I agree with every word written by our mutual friend Ruud from Holland. I have also read all of the other posts here and have the following comments to make. Unlike some of your contributors, I think your choice of music was perfect. It sets the mood and feeling you wanted to convey, and it doesn't matter that it's not a piece by Brian or the Rolling Stones. Brian was above such petty jealousies himself and would surely have loved this music. To the niggardly-minded people still peddling this "Brian was a woman-beater" message, I have been researching this myself and have first-hand testimony that Brian was the victim of abuse by Anita Pallenburg, not the perpetrator of it. It was Brian that turned up with cuts and bruises from Anita's violence, not the other way round. His reputation of battering women once again comes from Mick and Keith, who have done a complete character assassination job on Brian over the years. Your support for Brian is not misplaced or misguided. He was exactly the kind, intelligent, creative person you always believed him to be. Such a pity the people he should have been able to rely on most turned out to be so unworthy of his own trust.

Two things I hate, Mick and Keith didn't go to Brian's funeral or wake and they are demorats, but they were way jealous of Brian because he had the wine , woman , song , and nice fancy clothes and Mick and Keith were obsessed with being stars and in the spotlight no matter what, period.....🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
