I always enjoy watching your videos. Because of you, I am a proud owner of a Happy Japan 12 needle older Voyager. If I hadn’t been watching you, I wouldn’t have even considered it. So glad I have it.

Thank you for informative videos. I just followed to this one after watching the 2021 vlog on starting up a business. I am fortunate enough to have started embroidery as a hobby about a year ago. Landed with 2 brother machines 4x4in and 6x10 in hoop, basic digitilising software and purchased designs. Machines are both second hand, but the smaller one seems of better quality. I started considering replacing the big one with V3, but getting a multi needle keeps getting in my head. Now... you run a proper business thanks to the hard work and smart thinking. Do you think its possible to get the multi needle pay for itself in a year or two just as a side gig?

Hello! It sounds like I was in a very similar position to you when I started. I had two single needle machines (an Innovis 90e and the V3) they were great for starting out but as demand for products grew they couldn't keep up - even though buying a multi-needle (PR655) took all my profit and put me back into the negative I think it paid for itself within a year because I was able to make more quicker and therefore sell more and this was great because at the time I was working in full-time employment as well.

Hello, thank you for your comment. I haven’t looked at what is available on the market recently as I’ve become more industrial machine focused. The biggest thing that led me to the f4403 was the size of the sewing field that allowed for more versatility in projects. The main thing to check when buying many machine is that the size of its sewing field will fit the projects you want to make. Hope this helps.

Hi! In the UK I purchase them from a company called Midwest Machinery. If you aren't in the UK then I would recommend checking Happy Japan's main website as they have list of suppliers all over the globe.

I would say there are lots of embroidery business out there selling similar products. It would be very hard to come up with a product in embroidery that is completely unique. However, it is all about how you market yourself and how you create a following online and locally. Creating a brand which stands out is important as that will attract people to your product.
