TheGiraffe Centre is only about 40 minutes drive from Nairobi and not too far from the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. You can have a nice day out by visiting these 2 centres, I recommend buying tickets online a day or 2 ahead. Then have a nice lunch at Tamambo Karen Blixen Coffee Garden.
after that you could check out Kazuri Bead and pottery factory.
