The ultimate villain. Lee Van Cleef inspired a lot of actors who took on "the bad guy" role in cinema, and not only the Western genre of television or film. He had such a presence on screen that only someone like Clint Eastwood could evenly match him as the unquestioned protagonist. I agree-Lee Van Cleef left a legacy that will be unmatched.

Call me a weirdo but this is my favorite theme out of the trilogy. I know The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly theme is considered perhaps more iconic and A Fistful of Dollars' theme has that building suspense that's just so classic, but to me I simply love how this theme still feels like a westen but has this almost epic saga feel to it.

Listening to this music gives me chills, reminds me of when I used to watch westerns with my great uncle who is huge western fan, he adored this trilogy and spaghetti westerns, as well as Clint Eastwood and Ennio Morricone's music, I have inherited those tastes, I had the fortune to watch a documentary of his life narrated by him called "Ennio", so great, Lee van Cleef was DOPE in this movie, this trilogy is six decades old and is still popular, I'll give credit to Clint Eastwood still being alive (at the time I write this) as a factor, he's still a living legend. I'm 19 years old (almost 20) and I love these films, I'll hope new generations discover them and enjoy them as well.

Folks Ennio Morricone is no more. He left us July 6, 2020. When Eastwood, the last remaining cowboy is no more, consider the final curtain on a platinum era unparalleled.
