This movie is the best "Western Movie in my life". When I was a high school student, I have watched it thousand times. My favourite is the last scene, Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Gian Maria Volonte who are the most beautiful actors at that time are glaring at each other before shooting with Ennio Morricone's beautiful music. NO NEED ANY COMMENT ABOUT THIS. This movie is the best. Sorry for the fans of John Wayne and anti-Macaroni Western fans.

Humour, tension, brilliant acting, Morricone's music using a tuba, the twitch, the itching to draw a pistol, absolute instinct in pulling a pistol and being stopped suddenly, the synchronised match scratching between Monco and Mortimer, the frightened barman ducking down, Monco smoking and smiling, the close ups of Indio's gang also powerless to deal with Mortimer's insulting affront, and all achieved without a single word of dialogue until the gang walk out. The Director - Sergio Leone is the Master in control and has created a Masterpiece. The camera loves Clint Eastwood and he knew what he was doing. He knew how to control a scene, literally with his presence. His cool is overwhelming. No other director could do what Sergio Leone has done. These Films are his Babies, for our satisfaction.
