I have been playing with some novice players and have tried to give them advice, which they tend to ignore, but I have been forwarding your videos to them in hopes they watch. Those that do have expressed thanks, so I appreciate your sharing your expertise. And thank you 👍✌️☮️

Thank you for your video; I found it per chance, but grateful I did. I am relatively new to the game and find I am often in the wrong position for whatever shot is coming next. This video is one for me to study, not just look at in the hopes of remembering all the information. I hope to be able to take this new found information to the courts. Thanks again!

You showed 2 ways to get to the net, 1 using the split step and the other moving forward with momentum, running forward. When do you use each of them? Thank you. Love your videos!

No Lollygagging! Lol love it! On the pivoting to take a shot on the bounce behind you, how would you pivot or handle one going to your left (backhand). Those are so hard and often I will them due to the lack of power with that type of swing. Thanks!

Hey Connor, brand new pickle baller here, love the vids. I was playing in a drop in recreation session and as I was returning the serve, momentum going to the net, trying to hustle to the kitchen line. As my opponent was about to hit it back I jumped into my split-step and he called me for a distraction foul? I’m 6’4” and 280lbs. I’ve never heard of that before, but thought I could possibly get some guidance? Thanks and keep up the great videos!

What I like to do when I’m pushed back onto the baseline on defense and defending spikes is that I will purposely drift towards the mid line of the court while the ball is in the air and I know a spike is coming back at me. I do this early and on purpose so that my opponent sees that the angled side of the court is wide open. As they start their swing, I already know they will go to the big opening and I and guess correctly almost every time where the ball will go. As they start their swing, I’m already moving back towards the correct side and it’s an easy return. Basically I mentally lead them to spike it where It is easier to return for me.
