Mike brought out the medial branch but never brought the shoe back around at the heal, leaving a lot of steal hanging. Was there a reason for leaving that much shoe there and not continuing to follow that back half of the foot?
who makes the shoeing box? anybody know.

+dennis beal Hello Dennis, The shoeing box is a JV box- it comes from Stockhoff's in LaGrange, KY. You might visit their website- stockhoffsonline.com to get more info- or if you want to send me your email or phone I can have them contact you. We did some modification with the handle and magnets.

And all this time I thought it was like buying a pair of Nikes,Jordan's or Pumas
Ahhh, comment sections, where opinions on anything to do with animals become instant immutable facts.
Cool tools, equipment and shoeing, but utterly wrong trimming done before it.
Do horses appreciate these expensive 'nail jobs' ?

Tami there's pros and con's to both. Different terrains, workloads, and riding styles are all factors that go into deciding if a shoe is right or not.
