I think the tempo is perfect for amateurs which most people are. Remembering all the steps is stressful enough to be worried about speed on top of that.

As a ballroom dance teacher/student, they have some very very complicated patterns. If you did this, be prepped to dance everyday, practice everyday, and be in good shape. This will take a long time to develop and perfect for someone with no dance and music background.
