When you mentioned the “wrong patches/name sets” I immediately had to think about the potential mistake of putting CL patches on a shirt that has the league printing (or vice versa)!! 🙈

almost did this mistake with a bayern shirt that has the name “BAYERN MUNCHEN” printed on top of the backside… gladly i noticed and bought the bundesliga patch 😂

i bought an authentic real madrid home shirt with bellingham printing from fanatics (ik what you"re thinking, but it was on heavy clearance). and came with cup printing and la liga sleeve patch 🙃. probably the reason for the discount lol.

I print namesets as a side job, been doing it for 15 years. This video touched my heart! haha you can´t imagine how many examples I have of these mistakes. And so many times the mistake comes from the customer lack of information/knowledge! sometimes they ask for this! I try to educate my customers about this stuff and eventually real collectors appreciate my help and keep coming and even asking for advice before buying, which i find very rewarding. For repairings like the ones needed in this video, and also for my own mistakes, I always keep (sorry fon´t know the translation) "cloruro de metileno", a controlled fluid that removes almost all namesets materials and allow you to bring your shirt to life again....sometimes. Some time ago I found this amazing real madrid shirt in perfect condition but.... with a personalized nameset that said "papa" something. I eventually applied all my skills and I got a perrrrrrfect benzema shirt that I wear on my weekly basis. Great content!

i have only 2 authentic shirts of my national teams. 1 of them came to play a friendly near me, I found their hotel and I was debating if they should sign it 😂 instead, i took 1 fake copy jersey and just made them sign that instead 🤝 thankfully it was signed & its personal now.

Hi again mate. A quick question regarding name and number sets on the back of shirts. What would you do if you have a shirt you wish to personalise with printing but you think the font for that season is ugly and makes the shirt look bad? Would you a) consider using the print from another season which you did like? b) find a printing shop to personalise it with a font you do like (in the correct colour of course) that has nothing to do with the club but looks better than the official print from that season? Or c) just leave the shirt blank?

I’m going to be honest…. After hitting 110 kits I can tell you the worst thing you can do is put a nameset on the kit. The current quality of namesets is trash and after a few years they end up fading/ peeling off. I just buy the kit with no name on the back. IF I get a name on it, I will never wear it.
