Thats exactly my point: Real were great from 2014 to 2018 cause of 4 champion leagues. Before that, from 2009 to 2013 they won one La Liga and one spanish cup... while Barca were winning trophies left right and center. The dude was saying wait till you meet the class of 2009 to 2018, and i said it was more like from 2014 onwards.

I love president Perez but he was so wrong for getting rid of Del Bosque and Makelele while taking the captaincy away from Hierro. That team could have and should have won so many more titles (think about the talent in that team) it's actually a shame lol. He chose to sign Beckham instead of Ronaldinho because Becks was prettier. Lol what a man. Thankfully he left, we had our trophy drought ..he came back and now we have won 3 UCL titles in a row and 4/5. Lol just a bitter moron. They beat the Bayern and Utd in 2000. Went to Old Trafford and won. Thrashed Valencia 3-0 in final who made 2 finals during that era. 2001 and 2003 madrid sides were best in the World and lost in semis with very bad luck

They were a good side in the late 90's but definitely not the best - Juventus were superior but they got lucky and won the CHL in 1998 with a goal from offside.Juve had by far the best squad in the mid to late 90's but won only one European cup and lost finals against Dortmund and Real where they were much better but didn't play their game.However, this Madrid was never that dominant, but very lucky side nontheless.The only real quality team was in 2002
