I have a 1980 Charity Shield program (Liverpool vs West Ham) signed by the full Liverpool team. My dad went to the game when visiting from Australia and one of my scouse relatives organised it through Phil Thompson. It's a prized possession which I get out every now and then and just marvel at the football royalty included. Ray Clemence, Thompson, Neal, Hansen, McDermott, Souness, Rush, Dalglish. In my opinion, one of the greatest football teams of all time! Shankly was a god-like figure in our history but I'm bothered sometimes that Paisley doesn't get the credit he deserves. Legends. Walk on!

much appreciated, and from a fan of a club with a proud fan culture of its own in Palace. From the outside it does appear that we at Liverpool still value local fan culture but from the inside we do know it has been watered down a LOT. But it's the Premier League, to make it in the Premier League certain things have to be sacrificed for a financial advantage, which no-one likes, but when we look at Man Utd, MK Dons, Chelsea etc we realise at Liverpool we really do have the happy medium; we're moderately successful but we still have something of an identity we can cling on to as a source of pride, which really reveals itself on European nights which are still like the old days. We really do have it good, even if we could have it better

This is a serious question. How comes Liverpool don’t have the worldwide popularity of Manchester United? Or did they until Alex Ferguson took over and they started winning everything? Or have Manchester United always been more loved as far back as busby babes and then best? Is it the Munich disaster reason they got so popular around the world? I know it’s not because of Paul Pogba !

Always amazes me how the Liverpool players during this period didn't win as many caps at international level.

We have a team that is a team. Not one single player can be singled out to be the greatest. We have so many options to rest players when needed and play others and still be astoundingly brilliant. I will be at the parade when we bring the premier cup through the streets of Liverpool

After Klopp reigns I definitely believed Gerrard will take over the throne in future .But will he built a great team to a successful journey as champions ? I truly hope so for this true kopites .👍

There's only one team that can walk side by side with Liverpool FC. That of course is Man U. Now as a Liverpool FC Fan? I hate The Devils. With a Passion. No team can close to the hate I have for those dirty little Mancs. But I do respect the shit out of them. They did what LFC Did in that they built a giant power that went onto win title after title. Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton have had some Great teams. But they fail to capture what both Liverpool and Man United did. Those two are without a doubt the Two Best English teams to ever walk on a pitch! Over 120 trophies between them, is I think what he meant (not titles, which make up 38 of those trophies). Though that number does also include Charity Shield trophies.

I remember paying 12 quid for a quarter final of the fa Cup against Tottenham in about 91...klinnsmann scored and they beat us... Remember being shocked by the price of the ticket as before then the most I'd paid was £6.50
