The reason why some of them were on there even tho they didn’t lead to goals is because fans also appreciate some of their control and player’s creativity on the ball when getting position of it or to redirect the ball to continue a pass or shoot out of no where. And it’s also a spectacular when seeing a player get out of a tight space when surrounded by players and/or the ends of the field. Some football matches don’t end with much scoring. And games can still be exciting low scoring when you understand how the league works. And the context of the match and what results each team wants from the match. Weather it be a league match.(for points on the table) or a it can depend on what stage of the tournament they are in. Not saying goals aren’t important and I personally would like to see a lot more but it’s not the only thing. Not getting scored on can sometimes be more important than scoring goals [sometimes]. Good defense is mostly the reason games are low scoring. And it’s satisfying to see teams crack a defense. Or if your team has a good defense. It feels in-powering to know they can’t get through your team. We always like the spectacular bicycles and things like that but we also pop and show love to the little things that shows a players class and abilities and capabilities. We like the individual skill and the team work!

It’s exciting to see you excited about the game. I would recommend videos explaining game. Not just the rules but how a each country runs a league (English Premier league to start, when you learn that one it’ll be easier to understand other leagues. They’ll very slightly if not function the same) also videos about tactics and positions. Even if it’s without a reaction because when you understand positions. And how managers (coaches) use tactics to get the most out of the players in their positions. You’ll enjoy the game more than just the highlights! And people would like see you kick a ball around. First hand experience is always the best experience

That goal you were confused about... the goalie messed up his throw, the opponent tried to score from far out, but the goalie touched it onto the post before he himself flew into the net. So no goal. The team thought they had scored, started celebrating, and the other goalie went to celebrate with the bench. The game was still going and it was an easy goal for the team to score into an empty net. Very embarrassing, there's a saying to always play to the whistle, which they clearly didn't do. The referee rightly let the game play on. But yeah, some of the flicks, tricks, volleys and passes really can't be totally appreciated until you actually try to do it yourself. The level at the top is unreal, these videos make it seem much easier than it is.

That goal was a goal but it seems the ref did not see it hit the net and played continued but the other team were still celebrating and hence why the goalkeeper was not in his goal 🤣🤣🤣

That bit at 11.17 that you didn't know what happened was this. The team kicking towards the right thought they scored a goal so was celebrating. But the ball didn't cross the line, it hit the post so was still in play. While the other team were still celebrating the team kicking towards the left could walk to the other end and had an open goal to aim at.

11:20 the ball did not bounce from the net. The goalie saved it and the the goalie went into the net
