With the thousands of other artists in the reggae genre, they don't let their personal life get out into their music. Look at all of the elder artists, many of us have no idea what they are doing in their personal lives outside of the music. Yeah, we knew that James Baldwin was gay but the thing is his relationship choice wasn't really out there for people to blantly see and this was before cellphones, so pictures getting leaked about relationships didn't become a thing until this generation.

Agreed. If we’re talking about the music itself, it’s positive and uplifting- I dare say righteous. There’s only one Most High, so as long as she’s singing from her heart to Him - it’s all that matters (if it’s about the music). I think it says a lot that she didn’t even mention it until after she was being blackmailed. I’m kinda stunned by just how judgmental a lot of people are being. As for the culture, She’s definitely not Rasta so why not just stop saying “new Rasta” and most “Christians” don’t sing to The Most High (they sing to “Jesus”… ijs) they should just let her be a gifted artist that gives praise to The Most High. Rastas don’t possess exclusive rights to praise the Most High. 😳 I can’t really judge her as a person but all things considered it seems like she was between a rock and a hard place, and the rock didn’t budge.
