On the way home from this trip I was listing M83 and had to pull over and watch the raw video clips at the same time. Life changing. A song that was both huge, and smooth, and emotional… I knew then it was what I was going to do.

Ryan, I really hope, someday you end up in a big National Geographic or a Netflix show and get all the praise you deserve! Keep on making those it make me really feel special to be a pilot!

Dude, I use to be one of the meanest MF'ers many people ever knew, I have always met strangers, trusted just one person (me), and really had one goal in mind everyday, and that was to come out on top. Many of the things you mention in this video is what made me a loving, caring person I am today, and allow people to use me so they can come out on top at the end of the day. I had many of the monsters you describe, the y lived within my daily life and thoughts. I faced them, I got hurt severely many a time, but the fun I missed out on with the "monsters" controlling me was allowing my life to pass by, so like you said in the video, it is going to hurt, but ya gotta walk it off. I did that and my life chronicled your video so much. I too fly paramotors, and the perspective it gives from the top down is reminiscent of my prior life, but the joy is there now that I look from the top down with other people. Incredible video my friend, I do not kbow exactly what you do, but it should be inspirational videos.

Some paramotor pilots will watch this and think, "I wish I could do that," yet when I watch this I think to myself, "we are all this lucky." I used to watch this movie called "The Art of Flight" about snowboarding because it motivated me to explore. This "little" thing you put together here is far beyond that level. Thank you. That's about all I can say.

Absolutely amazing. Deserves an IMAX showing. The ending score really did it for me since that was the ending score in the Art of Flight, and that movie defined an era of my life before PPG. You did the track just as much justice as T.Rice. What a tribute.

That’s awesome, and thank you. I watched that years ago and maybe it left a subliminal impression to recreate it. On my way home from filming this event I was listening to M83 and had to pull over and watch the footage as I listened to the music and the lightbulb went on so strong that I knew I had to go this route. It hit me too emotionally to resist.

This is my ultimate dream. My two favorite things in life are flying and natural beauty of the American South West. I've been only twice (from the east coast) and i think about it every day. These shots are amazing. I'd love to be up there some day.

Thanks Caleb. All the guys got together that night after the flight to look at the footage and when the epiphany came to turn my laptop upside down, we all freaked out.

On another level. Well done sir...we all have those moments where we are preflight, setup, engine running in the center of our glider and think. Could this be my last flight? And launching despite that...it’s hard to put it to words but you seem to get it on film. Nice vid

How does a Paramotor video give you chills? The shots in this are mind blowing.

Wow. If you are not a documentary producer/director as a career, you should be. Just so well organized, shot, edited and the pacing is perfect. Awesome! In October I am taking PPG lessons in Boulder City, NV. I can't wait. I live in Orlando right on the line between the Disney Restricted Area and miles and miles of open Class G, E farmland. We spend 3-4 months a year in Vegas so I have to get a second PPG or figure out how to transport it back and forth on commercial planes.

Right on. Vegas area has a LOT of great places to fly nearby. I actually do make videos for real commercial clients in my day job, but these Paramotor vids are all just a hobby. Wish I could spend more time making them with real intent. :)

Amazing story and video. I am a new pilot and have had some moments that put the pause into me. Watching this inspires me to get back up there and conquer that dragon. Because those moments are worth it to me too. Thank you for a powerful and beautifully filmed video.

Superb blend of camera work, music, and thought-provoking narration! If I ever do videos I want to follow your style, sir. As a Christ follower I don’t see paramotoring as a beginning or end in itself but a means to appreciate what we’ve been given, which though temporary remains so stunningly amazing!
