Very nice for an open-handed shot.

It's always fun seeing someone beat their own path and using a less popular front series. I always felt it must be 10x harder to develop it to a high level as you usually don't have many peers to learn from, but the flip side is, most people aren't used to facing a high level pull kick or back pin series.

Especially on tour when all they see is a pull and roller. 👍

Thanks for the upload ! Nice long pull kick . Much respect ! Brings back memories . I used to play a guy called Red Eyes out of Chico Cal I think he was .. I can't remember his real name . Back in the mid 70's he used a long pull kick - dink series exclusively and did very well with it and was 8th in nation last time I played him in 76-77ish . . . My pull kick is inspired by Red Eyes when I was 15 y.o.. Any old Foosers remember his name ?

Ditto originally from Arizona but has been in Colorado for over 15 years? Now he’s awesome and has a wicked dink.

The problem with defending against a pull kick is it's such an uncommon shot. It's just so damn awkward, plus this guy is really good at it. I had to defend against a pull kicker back in 1978 in a DYP tournament and I got crushed. Badly.

When I first started playing Ditto and his Dad were part of the Tucson foos scene. Doesn’t look like his shot aged at all.

He’s still really quick on the pull and you really have to keep your eye on the ball for a fraction of a second to guard the dink. Great player 👍

Have you ever played Ditto? If no, have an open mind and respect Ray’s video promoting local talent. Tony is the best player in the world. He could shoot a shot series that he’s never even used before versus a player who has mastered that shot… And he would still probably have a better percentage just from pure experience. You can see in this video Kevin, an elite pro master, doesn’t even react the first time the pull kick is blasted. Even the last Pull kick… Kevin is leaving and extremely tight long-hole… And Ditto still nails it. I’ve seen a lot of good pull kicks … But I cannot imagine one that is faster than Ditto’s, and can go deadman with the consistency that ditto has. Do not discount players you have never seen just because they do not tour nonstop like the top pro masters have. That said… I feel like I D up Ditto’s pull kick pretty well although I cheat it. I do not favor the long-hole … I flat out sit on that long and force him to look at the shorts straights and dinks. He is unable to pull the trigger on those automatically, like he can do the long hole…which provides the advantage. If he ever mastered the inside game to go with his long pull kick… It may well be the best pull kick on the planet.

@@FooserX It's one thing to promote new local talent, it's another to make the bold statement that its foosball's best pull-kick. And this is coming from a place of respect, because I've been watching your videos FooserX for some time now and while I don't always agree, I damn sure respect and acknowledge your foosball knowledge and your love of the game. But I don't believe dennis was discounting anything so much as stating a fact. Spredeman is one of the best, if not the overall best at hitting the pull-kick. And there was a time when I didn't think anyone could be better at it than Chris Dube. That little guy was a monster at the pull-kick back in the day. But Tony is on another level. This guy in this video, as brief as it was, definitely has some skill at hitting that shot, no doubt. But you have to expect there's going to be some push back with the way this video was titled. When are you gonna put out some more react videos FooserX? It's been like a year since I last seen any new videos from you. I really liked those. So hopefully you will continue that some more in the future.

@@jeremybr2020 It certainly has been a while! I put two new react videos up this week, but took them down because I was a little tipsy, and when I re-watched them, I came off a little too critical and negative. I 'd like to stay positive! And then I reacted to another video for like 45 minutes only to find out I didn't have the "record" on....ugh. 🙂
