I have seen countless multiplying ball routines in my life. It was one of the first tricks I ever learned as a child, and I continued to do versions of the trick throughout my magical career. If anyone had ever told me I would watch an essentially "stripped down" multiplying ball routine, and not only enjoy it, but actually be moved to tears, I would have suggested they get mental help. But then, there is Javi Rufo. I knew by the second production that he would not only fool Penn and Teller, but that he would move them as well. The fooling, the technique, is important, yes. It is startling, it is confounding, it is marvelous, and it remains a mystery to me. But it is secondary to the wonder and emotion, the art that Javi creates, as he literally weaves a spell for us. And we are held, spellbound, on his every word, disbelieving...but wanting so much to believe that we are children again...and magic is real. Thank you for giving us a moment of pure wonder. It is a rare and precious thing.

now this is the kind of "magic" i like to see, one hand, no sleeve and things just appear out of "nowhere". i think those balls are really squishy and you can easily make them small enough to fit somewhere where nobody would look, but even in slow motion i didn't notice where it came from.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is the red ball contains several tiny white balls and maybe when he does a slight shake move it forces one out and then it inflates? But bouncing the white balls on the ground is throwing me way off. Insane
