Respect to all the magicians who don't spoil that they were a Fooler in the title of their videos.

The fact that he didn't spoil it made me genuinely think that he didn't fool them, so after the trick, I was thinking, "How the hell did they figure that one out?"

was gonna say this. as the other dude also said, at the end I was just thinking "how the hell did this not fool them?"
You could see in Teller’s eyes that he was deeply moved
I have seen countless multiplying ball routines in my life. It was one of the first tricks I ever learned as a child, and I continued to do versions of the trick throughout my magical career. If anyone had ever told me I would watch an essentially "stripped down" multiplying ball routine, and not only enjoy it, but actually be moved to tears, I would have suggested they get mental help. But then, there is Javi Rufo. I knew by the second production that he would not only fool Penn and Teller, but that he would move them as well. The fooling, the technique, is important, yes. It is startling, it is confounding, it is marvelous, and it remains a mystery to me. But it is secondary to the wonder and emotion, the art that Javi creates, as he literally weaves a spell for us. And we are held, spellbound, on his every word, disbelieving...but wanting so much to believe that we are children again...and magic is real. Thank you for giving us a moment of pure wonder. It is a rare and precious thing.

Tellers reactions were so wonderful too, he loved it.
It's so rare that Penn doesn't have a joke or a ramble or a rant. He was so taken aback by the beauty of the performance. You could see it, too, that they were both like, "Wait how is he doing this?"
When I saw Teller's face, I knew he had fooled them...and that was early in the act! I also don't remember ever seeing a standing ovation like that before! That was phenomenal in every way!
THAT was the most spectacular act i've ever seen. And I have never seen those kinds of expressions of pure awe on Penn and Teller's faces. What a magnficent performance!
The magic of Spain is definitely on another level. It is no coincidence that this performance has been rewarded at FISM 2021

It does seem that Spain has become a central focus for magic in the past ten or twenty years. I mean, there have been some fantastic Spanish magicians around for a long time, but now there seems to be dozens and dozens. Amazing

I've done some sleight of hand stuff, and so I'm familiar with some of the principles of how it works. Which is why I was so in awe of this routine, because everything I know says that's impossible. Simply brilliant.

@@Allen-L-Canada Haha what? It's simply white rubber shells within shells, then solid rubber ball which he bounces, repeat process using red ball that has both white and red inside. Think russian nesting dolls. The problem I had was how small the white balls got so quickly into the act. He was very good at turning the balls when he moved his hand in order to conceal the seams though.
@Allen-L-Canada

@@Nebzz wow, thanks. I thought about that too, just didn’t know how the shells can bounce. He never bounced the red ball, so we know it’s a shell. But each white ball he was able to bounce. I don’t know how can he produce 2 solid balls from the red shell.

You are right, you can actually see it when playing 3:01 at .25% speed, the white 'ball' he throws in the hat bounces back up but it spins during the bounce and you can see its not fully round.

Checkmate Teller! It's very rare that we see him astonished. Such a beautiful story. ¡Bravo Javi!
Sentimental, simple, and impossible. Usually Teller is the more emotional of the two, but you can see Penn was deeply moved as well. Congratulations!
I've watched almost every act on "Fool Us." This is the best one I've ever seen-so magical and poetic.
Its not a trick, its magic. Pure magic. I have never seen anything like this before. Man u r wizard not a magician. You deserve standing ovation from crowd ❤❤❤❤
Wow. I mean, one might have a fairly solid idea at first but they just keep coming, into clean hands, bouncing around. That was beautiful indeed.
Omg this is like nothing else Very deserve fool us trophy🏆 I mean look at both Penn and Teller, i bet they were about to cry then and there 😁 It really is such a piece of art, just like most great magic acts, but much more beautiful than all I've seen
The most beautiful routine I have ever seen, and I've been doing magic for 54 years
This is the kind of MAGIC where talking your act is tolerated. SUPERB PERFORMANCE!! 90% of the magicians on this show talk talk talk their heads off to commercials
This is an act I don't even want to know how it's done. It was magic.
Beautiful! I usually don't care that much for magic tricks that only goes for beauty or poetry. I tend to get bored and prefer a funny fast talking magician. But this was an exception. Thank you!
That was one of the best performance if not the best....truly magical
One of the best acts I've ever seen on this show, and many others, bravo 🎉
I've thought I saw the trick several times, reversed, played it slowly... and nope. Nope. I did not see anything. Magical presentation.
I have no idea how he did this. This is a standard trick in amateur magic shows that uses shells, but he keeps producing the balls in a way that would be impossible with that technique. It's an amazing version of an old trick, and it's very impressive. I love seeing new versions of older tricks, and I'm glad that he won.

This was so magical and moving...I wouldn't WANT to know how it was done!
He tuned them inside out with his magic aura. Nicely done!
There are times when you can’t believe what you were seeing. As a lover of magic tricks for over 50 odd years, this is one of those magical moments. What a fantastic trick. And what a brilliant show, and one of the best moments is when you see Teller’s face and see his appreciation and admiration of the skill he is watching and he has no idea of the technique! And he knows most of that stuff. An absolute joy to watch this gentleman perform his incredible routine.
Watching René Lavand perform the Oil and Water routine when I was a child is what originally sparked my love for magic. This was an absolutely beautiful tribute to him - congratulations, and thank you for sharing it!
Great performance, and beautiful homage to René though the act was very much your own. I only saw René on TV, and I remember his can't-be-done-slower or maybe-it can. I keep forgetting he only had one arm because in his act that didn't come up. And I totally agree with Penn and Teller: the third move was when I realized that no, this is not what's in the magic shops. Great performance and great trick.
Absolutely incredible. Every single aspect of the act was truly beautiful. Well done!!! Thank you for sharing your magic with the world!!
When Teller throws his hands up in the air, you know you're watching something special.
That is pretty much as good as magic gets. Bravo.
I can watch this over and over again. It’s the most beautiful performance I’ve ever seen on this show
This trick is very hard to figure for me, when he bounced ball of floor he totaly got me. Damn strong trick !
I performed a billiard ball routine to music for many years. It's a well known routine, but beautiful when performed well. However, this was stunning ! I don't care about the "how", I just loved the "how well". Absolutely beautiful routine Javi.

I don't normally scream at the tv but dam those last two just made me scream "dam it" , like I've see this many times but never as smooth as that and still no idea how you did it while showing your complete hand more than once ....that was pure magic.
Damn. That was one amazing act. It damn near made me cry.

No words.. I had such a great smile on my face without my knowledge and of course with happy tears in my eyes. One such beautiful magic I have ever seen.
This was simply beautiful, and without doubt in the top 3 magical pieces I have ever watched in 40 years of being amazed by practitioners of the arts! Simply beautiful in every way, and it was clear to see from the reactions of P&T, it was the same for them. Outstanding, and something I will never forget!
Amazing magic, had me shocked and I told my wife that a guy was doing real magic

now this is the kind of "magic" i like to see, one hand, no sleeve and things just appear out of "nowhere". i think those balls are really squishy and you can easily make them small enough to fit somewhere where nobody would look, but even in slow motion i didn't notice where it came from.
