🍨煎蕊(Cendol),又译为煎律、珍多冰, 是东南亚地区的传统冰冻甜点。它最基础的配料是在刨冰上加入绿色粉条,再淋上椰浆,最后放椰糖调味,其它配料则是红豆或糯米。煎蕊之粉条乃用糯米粉制成,并以班兰叶的天然色素染成绿色。
📍在热带国家,煎蕊特别受当地人的欢迎,酷热天气吃一碗冰冷甜品解暑,特别美味!因此,在各大城镇的街边或小贩中心都可以找得到煎蕊的踪影,并且已经入驻现代化的甜品店或咖啡店。
💗如果说椰糖是煎蕊的特色和精华,那么太平这家Ansari的煎蕊,特色就在于其中一种配料,那就是蕉叶烤糯米饭。经过烧烤,糯米饭有着淡淡的蕉叶烟熏味,这和冰凉的煎蕊一起吃,别有一番风味!

🍨 Cendol is a sweet and refreshing iced dessert commonly found in Southeast Asia. This delightful dessert is made with ice, sugar syrup (known as gula Melaka), pandan jellies, and coconut milk. Some versions of cendol may also include red beans or glutinous rice. The jellies, with their distinctive green colour, worm-like shape, and pandan flavour, are the star of this dish.
💟 They have a soft consistency with a slight chew, similar to noodles. The Jellies‘ green hue comes from the natural pigment of pandan leaves. Cendol is often sold as street food by hawkers and in food courts. Nowadays, it can also be found in dessert shops and coffee shops.
📍Ansari Famous Cendol was founded by Mr. Abdul Kader in 1940 and has been one of the pioneers in selling Cendol prior to the nation's independence. What makes this Cendol stall special? The answer is the grilled glutinous rice cooked in a banana leaf. The crispiness of the slightly charred "pulut" perfectly complements the sweetness of the Cendol.
