This is a goal we are working toward. One day we will have a bigger storage, but we have to start somewhere and that is where we are at.

Definitely! At our old house in the suburbs, we only had part of the guest room closet for extra food storage so we had less. Every bit counts though!
First time visiting your channel; I appreciate the manner in which you shared your Azure haul. Kudos for being organized and straightforward. I loved seeing your pantry as well, so wish we had basements in Texas. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your kind words and welcome to the farmstead! Basements aren’t common in SC either, but we had it on our wishlist for when we did get to build our home. Before we moved out of the suburbs, we devoted half our guest bedroom closet to food storage by putting a bookshelf inside of it! :-)

No need to stress about the unknown what if's we have no control over! Rather than calling it "emergency food storage" or "survival food" with a fearful connotations, we've borrowed the UK term "prudent reserve" to describe our stash.
