That's interesting because I've heard of this when I was a child and then never heard of it again that they used to tie stone around their stomach. So I thought it was probably just my thought, but reading your comment means that it was done back then and others are aware of this.

@@h_lula97 yes puting a stone around the belly due to hunger was mentioned in many authentic hadiths such the one in sahih Albukhari , Jabir narrated "We were digging the trench)n the day of Al-Khandaq and we came across a big solid rock. We went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, Here is a rock appearing across the trench. He said, I am coming down. Then he got up, and a stone was tied to his belly for we had not eaten anything for three days...." also one in Musnad Ahmed and it was authenticated by Muhaddetheens. Also on Sahih Muslim Anas said: I visited Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one day, and found him sitting in the company of his Companions, with a belt tied over his waist. I asked, "Why has Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) tied the belt on his waist?" I was told, "Due to hunger..."
