Food review for Blake’s Lotaburger | Silver City, NM

We were drawn to Silver City, to visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings. During our stop in New Mexico, we were encouraged to eat at Blake’s Lotaburger.
We are on a permanent road trip with the goal of eating food all over the country and bringing reviews to you. Come along with us as we sample new cuisine and patron many local and regional corporate restaurants along the way.
We are always moving to new locations around the country, please give us suggestions of places to eat. We would love to hear from you.

More than likely it was the location. We're willing to give it another shot when we are in NM.

The funny thing about restaurant recommendations is that places can change so quickly from good to poor. Even in my area I find inconsistent quality in restaurants all of the time. I haven't been to NM in about 25 years and I looked up this monastery that I stayed at back then on the Jemez Mountains. It's completely changed now and seems to have grown exponentially but I remember that there was a Navajo pueblo near it that baked native American bread. I don't even know if it's there anymore but there is a Jemez Springs Historic District which is also close to a brewhouse 😂. I remember when I was there, there was a Buddhist retreat house there next to the monastery. Anyway the mountains there are beautiful with red rocks. I think you definitely deserve a lot more subscribers!

You're right about restaurant consistency, that's why I am not too harsh when we don't like something. We are slowly growing in subscribers, I am patient and thankful for the ones we have. 😀

It wasn't as hot as I had hoped however it was still a lot of burger compared to other fast food burgers.

I grew up with beans in chili. I didn’t know chili didn’t technically have beans until a few years ago.
