We have cape gooseberries here in Gippsland (we are in a frost free area). They have been ripening even over Winter.

I find cape gooseberry super hard to grow as it sprays gets attacked by cape gooseberry beetle. Like it’s inevitable here so much so that I stopped growing it. I wish I had a solution

Is your white Shahtoot mulberry a dwarf or do you just prune it back hard?

Jian, I notice you have a few fruit trees in pots. Do you plan to plant them into the ground or so you plan to just leave them in pots? Just trying to figure out whether I should leave some of my fruit trees in pots as I have a tiny backyard. Thank you and hope you're well!!

Hi, do you water the babaco? If so, how often a week. Any special soil.

I'm looking to add some cover for my Silkies in their run & wondered whether Cape Gooseberry and a Babaco may be a good idea? The other issue is I'm out of space everywhere else, so it's here or not at all 🤣

Watched both videos. Interesting you said you had a warm winter. Where we are in Melbourne we had one of the coldest in 20 years. We only usually get 2 or 3 frosts a winter due to the protection from the two bays. I counted at least 15. Our blackberries dropped all their leaves but we did have a late start to winter. Also how do you stop the bugs eating your papinos. We had two massive melons get destroyed by them.

Hi Jian! I wish I had you to help me plant my fruit trees in my tiny tiny backyard. I'm so nervous to start in case I plant them in the wrong place. My backyard is tiny in an L shape. How did you get the confidence to put them in the right place according to the size they will grow to? Thank you!!

Planting deciduous and shorter trees on the Northern side of your property could be a good place to start, so that they're not blocking the winter sun from your trees and plants behind.

Been so excited for this video! Love your garden. Just wondering how much sun your babaco gets? I’d love to grow these too 😍
