It's very sad. I remember first seeing him in the videos for Alanis Morrisette in the mid 90's and thinking, that drummer is special. He's got something about him. Then he joined Foo Fighters and really broke through. I was surprised to learn he struggled with heroin in the early 2000s, and was so happy when he pulled out of it. RIP Taylor.

Dave is an amazing person period. Heart of gold and kindest, most humble musician of all time imo.

I think Dave may put FF to rest with Taylor. I'm not saying he should, but I sense that losing Taylor is going to take it out of him. I feel so sad for Taylor's wife and children. But Dave has been through a lot. A band like FF was/is as tight as blood. No one could come close to T.

This to me has got to be one of THE best songs of the 2000's. All memes aside, this song breaks the ABABCB formula, the vocals are straight from the heart, the music is compelling and full of energy, and the lyrics are brilliant. I don't think I've ever seen a song tackle depression, emotional abuse, and just the emotional struggle to move forward in life in such a universal, articulate, and inspiring way. Foo Fighters made a MASTERPIECE with this song, and it deserves to be remembered as much, in my opinion.

I get what you are saying, stay strong, I always feel that when we find certain music it affects our mood, I recall a few years ago when I was going through terrible withdrawals I came across Imagine Dragons, not normally a band I would find enjoyable but they blew me away. I listened to their music so loud that I had chills going up my back. I think if I wasn't going through the pain of withdrawals I would not have heard the music that I feel helped me

I left my home city, Houston a few months ago, where I was born and raised for 22 years. Around the last few days before I left, I heard this song somewhere, but didn't know the name of the song or who it was by, but I remember how it went. I feel like this song is personally meaningful to me as it reminds me of the time and memories I made in my home city throughout my life. Later on, I heard it on the radio again and finally got the name of this song, and it all makes sense. Houston, I'm forever grateful to have gotten to see the best of you.
