Stayed there in 1982..it was magical..we travelled from London and stayed there for 2 weeks...fantastic memories

In 1983 when I was in 7th grade my friend and I used to sneak into the Fountainbleau and hang out at the pool. I think we also went to the Sheraton which was another hotel very near there. We had a lot of fun there. It took a long time before the hotel staff got wise to us and asked what room we were staying in. After that no more Fountainbleau and Sheraton for us. But you'd be surprised what a couple of debonair young 7th graders could get away with in 1983.

What an amazing time and place to be a kid tbh! The 80s were the best and being in Miami during that time was even better! I wish I was alive then to experience it all.

We did the same thin in 1968 at the Seven Oaks Motor Inn on Austin Highway...

Spectacular ICONIC HOTEL, I always wanted to stay at the FOUNTAINEBLEAU when visiting MIAMI, but everytime I end up staying in SOBE. I've had drinks at the BLUE BAR and that's all I did there. After viewing this review I will probably stay at the FOUNTAINEBLEAU my next visit. Loved the upgraded room since it had a nice balcony and bathroom. GREAT THOROUGH REVIEW!!😊

This is the kind of hotel I think of when I think of Miami Beach. I’m looking for a primo relaxation place so this is definitely going on my list!

The hotel is beautiful, no doubt. Lots of history as well. We stayed here recently for Easter break. It was packed, and I mean packed. Like nothing I’ve ever experienced. So crowded in fact that my buddy and I had to get to pool early, 0700, to claim our seats. We ordered food by the pool, we ordered early, because there was a 90-minute wait to get your food once you ordered. And, remember, you’re staying at the Fontainebleau, the food and drink prices are high. The gym was outstanding, just outstanding. Ocean beautiful. Again, beautiful place, but investigate before you go.

Thank you for being honest! Had the same problems many times at the Fontainbleau. It used to be the Fontainbleau Hilton and was just a bad management problem. As of the late 90's most of the rooms in the Chateau still had furniture from the 60's with spectacular ocean views, but dirty and badly managed.

yeah my gradfather owns 3 condos in the tresor they are much nicer he rents them out year round. and are cheaper most of the time then the hotel

From the UK, stsyed there for my 50th and they upgraded us to a top floor beach view. Only paid 750 for theweek and four people. Last night we watched Robin Thicke/Farell concert out the window.

Nice job.

Can't complain I stayed over for a week I loved besides the 150$ deposit on top of what I paid I love it

Absolutely love your videos dude, I am looking to visit Miami for the first time and was wondering what is the best time to come for hot weather but yet out of season so the hotels are not as expensive? Also would you recommend staying here for 4 days or just get the day pass for the pool ? Any information would be much appreciated 🙏 👍

I satyed there from 1968 to 2006 every summer. My parents were addicted to Fountainebleau. Its sucks now. Surfcomber is the same. Its not old miami anymore

Do they use wrist bands? Reason I ask is i have 3 kids and online it wants me to book a suite, I would rather book a regular room with 2 beds for 2000 cheaper and not tell them about 1 of the kids staying in the room

Yes they had red wristbands but u can also use your room key

I’ve been to this hotel and my mom was a lot better. I was high up in the tresor tower.

The remodel is awful. The stairway to nowhere is bland and stripped of the neoclassical mural. They took a Morris Lapidus masterpiece of modernity and stripped it down to bland, boring “modern” for people with bland taste. I worked mid beach in the ‘90’s and remember it as being a little shabby, but still glamorous. It looks like a courtyard Marriott now. Probably draws a lot of Instagram followers.
